Kim Wilde/ Close 2CD Deluxe Edition
Kim Wilde‘s long-awaited reissue of 1988’s Close hits the ‘shops’ today, packed full of bonus remixes and single edits.
Mike Oldfield / Five Miles Out 3-disc deluxe edition
As well as Crises, today sees the reissue of Mike Oldfield‘s 1982 album Five Miles Out. No box set, but the standard deluxe edition still packs a punch with a few bonus tracks, a live CD and a DVD with the album mixed in 5.1 surround sound.

According to the CDJapan website, the release date for Yes “High Vibration” is now September 18th.
Had a suspicion it might go back, thanks for pointing this out. Hoping to get hold of one of these, and put some photos up so everyone can see what it looks like.
I have this on order too from my Japanese supplier, due around 18th September. Notbsurprised it is delayed. Thats a lot of discs to manufatcture. Looking forward to your pictures of this set.
Kim Wilde’s ‘Close’ is absolutely stunning. Very classy and comprehensive booklet, and the sound is brilliant… I’m hearing new little details on some of the tracks I’d not heard before, and it’s testament to Kim et al coz this album is so fresh and solid it could almost be a brand new album. Two big thumbs up from me, and I hope ‘Love Is’ and ‘Love Moves’ are done and done to this standard. Fantastic!
