Just got confirmation that my copy has been posted as well. Now just need a cheap deal for the CD version of this and the Queen Studio Albums vinyl-box… :-D

I think that’s partly because they’re shipping UK orders from Scotland not Italy on this one.

Received my ABBA box set as well today. Was in back order when ordered but received it and paid the promo price of €32 (plus about €6 in shipping costs).

Amazon.it just emailed me to say my 5 Years box will ship sooner than originally estimated! Should be here in 2 weeks.

Ordered the Abba box for a bargain , and it arrived yesterday. I was looking at the Vinyl box to complete my existing Bowie collection (over 40 items) but at 260 Euro normal price I thought it was too expensive. At 160 Euro shipped to Belgium ! yeah ! ordered !

I received the Wall immersion set from the UK site and Abba box set from the Italy site at the deal prices with no issues so it’s always worth ordering even if the items are currently ” Out of stock “

Just a little alert to all. You can order on an iPad – you can do the automatic translation thing on there too. I got this box set on November 7 for only €23 on Amazon.it.
Amazon Italy usually have very tempting offers and some really bargains.

The vinyl box was exactly €22.86 for a brief moment on November the 8th on Amazon Italy.

Paul, could you clarify the nature of the Recall compilation album. You state above that it is a 2CD set, but Discogs lists it as 2x vinyl?

It’s not for me as I’ve got most of them already. But what a great price alert from Paul. I predict quite a few SDE subscribers wallets will be much lighter very shortly.

Are there codes for downloads with the vinyl set?

Great price, but I’m sceptical. I ordered The Wall Immersion Edition when that was very cheap on Amazon UK recently (as alerted by SDE). After ten days, Amazon simply cancelled the order. I’ve just ordered the Five Years set more in hope than expectation (it will be a nice accompaniment to the CD set I’ve already got).

I’d been to-ing and fro-ing about this for a while, waiting for a decent reduction and here it is!

Strangely, I had been toying with the idea of building up my Bowie vinyl collection as I awaited Blackstar, happy to pick up original copies from Discogs or 2nd hand stores. However, after the events on Monday, I didn’t feel like looking until last night, and the prices on Discogs have seemingly gone insane! I’m not sure if it is because of his death, or whether prices were always that high, but £100-£500 for an un-rare, original or re-pressing in VG condition of one of these albums in this box is just bonkers, making this box set very good value for money for those looking to do the same as me.

Did I see/hear that there will be follow up boxes released of similar spec?

BTW, I got my SDE alert ABBA LP box from amazon.it in superfast time. Nobody should be worried about ordering from amazon’s Italian site.

If its like the ABBA boxset on amazon.it ordered it payment was going through, they cancelled order. Beware! Not for the first time Amazon (any region) have not honoured an order.
