All of Lou Reed‘s solo albums from the 1970s and early ’80s remastered under the “direct personal supervision” of the American rock musician shortly before his death. Large format box includes, 80-page hardbound book, poster + five 8″ x 10″ prints.

Barry Gibb’s second solo album and his first of new material since the Bee Gees‘ final studio album in 2001. The songs have been written with his sons, Stephen and Ashley. The deluxe edition has three bonus tracks.

Norah Jones / Day Breaks (new album)
Norah Jones comes ‘full circle’ by apparently returning to her jazz roots with the new album Day Breaks. Pity really, since I thought 2012’s Danger Mouse-produced Little Broken Hearts was stunning.

This cheap and cheerful 5CD T.Rex / Tyrannosaurus Rex box features the albums My People Were Fair and Had Sky in Their Hair, But Now They’re Content to Wear Stars On Their Brows , Prophets, Seers & Sages: The Angels of the Ages, Unicorn, A Beard of Stars, and Electric Warrior.

First time on CD for this Micky Dolenz collection which includes 12 bonus tracks that were not on the original vinyl LP.

Agree on Little Broken Hearts. Singles from new album feel like a disappointing step backwards.

That t rex set is way over priced. Bring it in cheap and may be worthwhile looking at.

It’s £11 in the UK, so only overpriced in Germany.
I’m looking forward to the Barry Gibb album. I believe the deluxe version might be exclusive to Amazon. The songs that have been released so far have been amazing!
Michael, agree, not a massive fan or follower but that new stuf is up there with his greats. He has been by far the best guest on Jools Holland this series as well.
Strange set, that T.Rex box – featuring Marc’s first four albums and then number six. Where’s the T.Rex album? (BTW the box is nearly 44 € at amazon.de – cheap it ain’t!)
The T. Rex album was part of the 2014 “The Albums Collection” released by Edsel.
Looking forward to the concept free new Luke Haines album. His last couple of releases have been sub-par. His North Sea Scrolls collaboration with Cathal Coughlan from 2012 is on of my favourite albums from the past few years.
New York in 70’s was one of his best. Mythic Motherf—— Rock n Roll!
I always look forward to my yearly dose of Haines.
Adventures in Dementia and British Nuclear Bunkers were both mediocre.
I’m a bit fan, but even I haven’t kept up recently. I have both of these but haven’t actually got around to playing them :/
