Would that Reprise insignia with a WB background be the label for territories outside the US? My version is a Euro edition. I didn’t notice the Reprise ‘R’ on my package. I’ll check it and get back to you all. I was sure mine had WB on the label but might be wrong.
Anyway, this is easily one of the finest remasters I’ve heard in a long time. Clearly the tech has caught up with the process. The album sounds better than ever.
Kind of a shame that the vinyl isn’t white, like my ’77 version is. Nice package overall though :-)
James, that is odd looking, isn’t it? It’s the regular Warner Brothers’ background with the Reprise logo on it. Be interested in knowing why they did it this way.
Interesting that the vinyl has a Reprise not a Warner Bros logo.
