Very promising release, however, the price for the 2CD is ridiculous. It’s double what the IRS deluxe editions cost, and double what the Green Deluxe cost from Warners. It’s currently AU$50 from the main Australian music retailer, which is very rich even for them. I might be able to pick it up for AU$40 from my friendly independent music retailer, however I think in the current day and age, that is still way overpriced. I will hold out until i find it in the bargain bin. Like the Document Deluxe for AU$2.
This has been on Apple Music since the set was revealed!
Love the song and this demo – odd hearing Berry singing a verse.
I’ve had those demos since a few months after the album came out in 1991, but it will be good to get properly mastered versions, rather than nth generation tape copies.
Theres actually video footage of the mountain stage show (off air) on you tube where stripe says sorry for screwing up Radio Song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-021EIb6J24
It would of being nice if this footage or visuals could have being included on the DVD / booklet ~ hey hey hey
Worst song they ever did. Don’t they realise this??
Seriously? Shiny Happy People is on the same album – did you always skip that one? :)
The photo reminds me of Lou Reed’s Rock n Roll Animal. Like most demos, it is somewhat underwhelming.
