A great reissue coming at the end of June is the triple-LP 25th anniversary reissue of Guru’s Jazzmatazz Volume 1. This is a great album, with guests including Lonnie Liston Smith, Branford Marsalis, Ronny Jordan, Donald Byrd, Roy Ayers, Carleen Anderson, N’Dea Davenport (of the Brand New Heavies), Dee C Lee and MC Solaar. https://thesoundofvinyl.com/*/Pre-Orders/Guru-s-Jazzmatazz-Vol-1-25th-Anniversary-Deluxe-Edition/5UCV0ASN000

if anyone is interested in the arctic monkeys they are having a pop up shop in Sheffield and some other less important cities offering unique and limited album and merchandise items.

Barkers pool is near the city hall and war memorial for those interested

I’ve heard they’re going to be selling a limited Gold Vinyl version of the album only available at these pop us stores. I’d love to get my hands on one of those (already have the other 2 vinyl variants on pre-order.

Any offers anyone :)

Hi Daz,

Yeah sure, not sure on the best way to exchange details without exposing e-mails to everyone on here (sorry to be a pest Paul, is that something you can help with, exchanging Daz and my e-mail addresses) ?

Paul E.

For those interested in The Sea and Cake, their new album “Any Day” is out this week also. I’ve heard a few songs so far and it is really outstanding.

Thanks, I like their “One Bedroom” and “The Fawn” albums

Great find. Thinking about it…keeping an eye on it the coming months to see if the price lowers, like it did with the Japan only New Order Furoshiki box.

Larry Davis

What new order release is that??

£91….for the Japanese CD box set…..7 CD’s…..plus badges…..not for me thanks

Chris Lancaster

Roughly hand the price of the Guns’n’Roses 4xCD & BluRay announces the other day. Thinking of it in that way, it’s a bargain!

For anyone who wants to wander off-centre of the well-trodden reissue path, ‘Turkish Ladies: Female Singers from Turkey 1974 – 1988’ is released on vinyl and CD this week:

Big thanks for highlighting this – sounds right up my street!

CJ Feeney

Apologies for this here, but posting on the Get In Touch thread is getting frustrating as it’s so long.

CD Japan have the new Springsteen collection vol. 2 on CD/mini-lp. Initial orders come with a set of album cover pins.

Gis Bun

Probably the eventual Springsteen box set on CD will be release elsewhere – less the pins. Volume 1 came on CD card board cases replicating the LP.
