I was correct about that Visage on Amazon it’s saying Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months. A tip for anybody who wants this look for all your music on ebay as they are selling it for £13 with free postage.
I have just emailed Amazon about this Neil. £13 is a good price so thanks for the heads up. I’ve ordered from all your music before and had the CDs within 9 days.
Dead Can Dance – Dionysus (Deluxe Edition) is on the way. I’m so excited.
This is very interesting……
As soon as I received this news from their newsletter about the new album and tour (and this was several weeks ago), I shared it here on this site…..but it looks like Paul decided not to publish it.
And not only that……not even giving any announcement about this news from that day until today (the release date……that means even in this very article) many of us have been waiting for for six years now – since the release of their previous album……and this isnt just any minor band we are talking about here……really quite strange and unusual.
This is certainly one of the most important / influential bands of the last 35 years – I think many would agree…….
I wonder if this post will see the light of day…..
What band exactly are you talking about ?
Yes, i was surprised too that there was no announcement. I bought a ticket for the now sold out “Alte Oper Frankfurt” Concert and can’t wait to see them live again. The new album is in his kind beautiful but it lacks too much Lisa Gerrard. It sounds more like a Brendan Perry feat. Lisa Gerrard than Dead can Dance. But anyway, most everything they will release is pure musical magic.
The deluxe Set is a bit expensive for the content, but it’s DEAD CAN DANCE
can I ask the remastered Bruce Springsteen albums , how much difference is there in the remastered quality, i have the originals ………..would I notice the difference in sound quality or instrumentation
I would like to know also. I know there are some experts on this site so please help us.
Just as an aside, this month’s Uncut has a free cover mount Bob Dylan CD Dylan (The Best Of The Bootleg Series). 12 tracks from the Bootleg Series including ‘You’re a Big Girl Now (Take 2)’ from the forthcoming MB,MT box set:

Hi Paul, will you be giving information about the King Crimson vinyl boxes in the future?
Who he?
Check: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=steven+wilson
Then look for Porcupine Tree…….. *I* found *them* through *this* site.
Enough asterisks?
;-)
Cheers Chris, appreciated.
The Suede coloured vinyl boxset has been put back to November 9.
Paul, I ordered Jeff Beck and Ayres/Cale etc from the SDE shop. Do you know roughly when they’ll be posted? Just so I know when to leave my ‘Leave packages in the box’ note to the postie!
Cheers
Thanks for the orders Paul! Likely to be posted Wed/Thurs this week. Hope that helps. P
Perfect, thanks again
SW’s RAH is out. Finally a concert film.
If not noticed, LP #5 [when released] has the three rehearsal tracks on one side and 3 unique tracks on the other side. I’m wondering of vinyl lovers would of preferred not to have the tracks – saving on the cost of the package. As a whole, 5 LPs isn’t that expensive.
Anyone have a link to the Visage release please.
Didn’t know of anything being released.
The Amazon UK link

The League Of Gentlemen box has been put back till the 9th Nov. Expensive day – White album, League and Tull… Splits up The League and Metallica though!
Incidentally, for those League of Gentlemen fans amongst you, the live Halloween Inside No.9 episode which was broadcast yesterday was extraordinary.
I seriously doubt that Visage will be released on Friday. Amazon UK are the only ones who have this for preorder and there is no reference anywhere on the net about this being released. Shame really as i would have bought this but the postage costs from the US now are a complete and utter joke which is even more bizarre when you consider you can buy stuff from the likes of China with free postage.
Melissa Manchester’s 1985 MCA album “Mathrmatics”, never issued on CD, is also being reissued this week with a bonus CD of remixes, b-sides, soundtrack songs and two unreleased tracks.
Visage by Visage is re-released on Friday too, newly remastered with 7 bonus tracks. It’s an import I believe so may cost a few pounds more but apparantly the remastering is first rate.
