So apparently the only Kylie format I wanted was the double picture disc, which Warner fucked up royally by only letting stores know today that it would be an official store exclusive. Well done then. That is now sold out so thank you stupid label! Also the double vinyl is not in a gatefold, which is just a slap in the face. A confirmation they just want money and cant even prerent to issue sonething decent. Soon people will realize that there is zero added value by buying a double vinyl when youre not even getting a photograph on sleeeves or liner notes to speak of. Pure greed.
There was some querying over the picture disc a few weeks back, along the lines of ‘why are you saying it’s a store exclusive when it isn’t?’. Clearly there has been some cock-up and it was indeed intended to be a kylie shop exclusive.
Skids release an acoustic album this Friday
Signed white vinyl on Record Store
Paul, I don’t think it is a double vinyl album for Hank Marvin, listing states 1 and includes 15 tracks, the picture on Amazon seems to indicate 2 vinyl albums, but it isn’t.
….I may of course be proved to be wrong :)
Notified by MusicVaultz that there is a delay from them for The Rolling Bones’ Bremen release.
Another hugely impressive release going out this week is the excellent career spanning box set from Kathryn Williams on the same record Label as Bjork (One Little Indian)
Containing:
10 Studio albums on CD from 1999 to 2015
10 Accompanying Bonus CD’s (1 CD for each album)
2 Different books
Some great signed options with or without prints available from the One Little Indian store as well.
Got my bid in in December – so glad this is finally coming out!
Is now delayed till July 12 but there will be goodies? to make up for the waiting impatient punters.
I have systematically stopped even reading any Motown compilations because its just worth the time you spend time trying to figure out if you have the odd “prev unrel” version and/or if they just newly remixed Baby Love again. Would love more expanded reissues please.
Not sure how many times this house box has been issued. Must the at least the third issue.
also out…
Echo In The Canyon Soundtrack – Jakob Dylan and guests
Acoustic TV Broadcast CD/DVD reissue – iCon (Wetton/Downes)
Conspiracy Live CD/DVD reissue – Conspiracy (Chris Squire / Billy Sherwood)
is the new Roger Daltry – The Who’s Tommy Orchestral album out this week, or was it last week…in any case, I’ve got it on order and it should arrive soon!
Already out Aaron, and entered the OCC Album chart at No. 100 last Friday
