A bit late but there is a red vinyl reissue of Janet Jackson’s Control album out on friday. True 80’s classic!

A week late I know but still worthy of a mention is David Knopflers 12th solo album Heartlands, unfortunately David lives under the big shadow of his more famous brother mark but David is a fine singer-songwriter in his own right and is well worth checking out.

Obvs no reflection on your fantastic work Paul! Just a week that didn’t appeal…at all. More of an 80s kinda guy.

Rush released digitally this week to coincide with Trump’s visit to the UK is the School of Language (David Brewis of the mighty Field Music’s side band) album ‘45’ based around Trump.

Physically it’s out in July.

I’ve yet to listen, but everything the Brewis brother’s undertake is top class.

It’s really not often that an ‘Out This Week’ lists not a single release I’d buy or want in my home. That’s a stinker of a week – each to their own though. Any news on the Scritti Politti vinyl re-releases BTW; it’s beginning to feel like the long, long wait for the Cardigans back catalogue all over again! Assume they can’t be too far off given the tour dates are imminent and will drive interest.

So excited for Divine Comedy!!

Larry Davis

Nah none of those…for me, the biggest release of the week is the reunion album buy powerpop siblings the Jonas Brothers, “Happiness Begins”, Target edition, 2 bonus tracks…last week was L7’s first album in almost 20 years, “Scatter The Rats” on Joan Jett’s label, Blackheart Records and GNR’s Duff McKagen solo album “Tenderness”, produced by alt-country stalwart Shooter Jennings…great record…

If the design was like an American release in 1994

Whatever happened to the Pink Floyd Animals 5.1 mix? That was supposed to be out a while ago, no?

Expect release in January 2020

First week in a long time when I have been excited about a lot of releases! And, thank you, Paul. Received my signed Duffy CD. Flawless packaging. I will definitely be buying from SDE again!
