I still do not understand how the distribution of Deluxe Edition is working, all Amazon sites have prices much higher that SDE or BurningShed while they are competitve on the vinyl version and they still stock Attack… deluxe version at reasonable prices….
I was tired of waiting for price to go down and eventually bought it from BurningShed due to cheaper shipping to Italy, received it today and looking forward to “unbox” it myself…
This record is in my top 10 all-time, I cannot wait to hear the 5:1 mix….
Its out now but still no complete track listing?
Not a fan but looks the perfect fan package. Love the way the book combines fandom (press and fanzine clippings) with thoughts on the album and outtakes by the guy who wrote the songs as well as a journalist’s take on the era plus four discs with plenty of high fidelity audio of the known stuff and lots of unreleased music too. The “book-set” idea looks great too. If only more reissues had this template.
Interesting even for a non fan. He has got a bit to learn from you on presentation though Paul!
He has other talents to be fair :)
