  1. I absolutely love this in 5.1. Nice deal for vinyl lovers. Our 3 month old taps his feet at the segue into “Get Back” : ) It’s impossible not to!

  2. Ah well – horses for courses. I find myself reaching for this quite often on vinyl and think the boy Martin did a pretty good job of creating something fresh and interesting. Was always likely to upset as many people as it pleased though wasn’t it :)

  3. I’m not entirely sure this album works on vinyl. The original CD/DVD-A with its high-res 5.1 mix is how this album was originally envisioned, as the audience at the live shows heard the multi-channel mix with speakers built into the chairs, but I guess it’s one for the completists and at a good price too.

  4. I bought mine when originally released and thought they wouldn’t sell many vinyl copies. This was before records were a novelty again. Whatever, Universal must be sitting on a boatload to sell them so cheap. Sorry I have the flu and things don’t make much sense to me.

  5. Confusing as there is only 16 tracks listed and the product description says ” The bestselling title The Beatles 1 released on vinyl in re-mastered form. Re-mastered at Abbey Road and pressed on 2 x 180g heavyweight vinyl discs.” Refering to the ‘Red’ album with the yellow ‘1’ in the centre with 27 UK & US No.1 hit songs on the LP. Tracks listed are from ‘Love’ and it does say 2 discs. Let’s see what arrives!
