If there is a competition to see how just how low a pre-release price can go for a 3LP+DVD deluxe set I think we might just have a winner with the forthcoming Rolling Stones From the Vault Live at Leeds 1982: Roundhay Park.
Amazon UK currently have this set at an incredible £16.70 – I recall paying close to that for ONE CD back in the 1990s, but now you can buy a six or eight panel deluxe triple vinyl set with a DVD that has restored visuals and remixed audio in 5.1 surround sound!

Very tempting. However, the Amazon info says the DVD is PAL which isn’t of any use to me. That is likely a mis-print because the other versions all say NTSC.
Also, another deal of similar caliber is The Rolling Stones: From The Vault Live At The Tokyo Dome 1990 [DVD + 4LP] [NTSC] at £20.84.
Now if only Genesis would do a similar campaign.
At the moment the CD+DVD combo costs more than the vinyl combo.Has this ever happened ?
