  1. HMV have got Bowie’s Who Can I Be Now and A New Career in a New town box sets for £150 each, free postage. Is this the cheapest they’ve ever been? May be time to finally pull the trigger.

  2. Beatles fans

Do try to listen to the bbc radio two interviews that Sean Lennon has done with julian, Elton and Paul.
To mark their dads 80th. The two hours are some of the best radio I’ve heard about the Beatles in years.

    1. Blimey there is a blast from the past. WHSmith selling Vinyl. I used to work in WHSmith Birmingham in the early 1980s. Vinyl took up a lot of floor space. Happy days.
I remember taking home the entire floor display for Exorcising Ghosts, Including a massive cardboard Photo of Japan including Masami Tsuchiya as part of the group.
Are WHSmiths moving back in to Vinyl sales?

      1. Ah yes Chris – I used to love buying Vinyl from WH Smith is Sutton, Cheam and Croydon. I remember happy hours browsing the shelves around the time MFP reissued a few Beatles solo LPs in those terrible sleeves. I think the price was £2.99! Boots the Chemist had a great selection in Sutton too. I remember looking at Dylan’s Live at Budokan (out of my price range because I was only 13 or so) – that must have been in ’79 / ’80… I wonder whether Boots will ever stock vinyl again?

    2. Wow Sebastian! That was a good find. I ordered ‘Pop Kids’ ‘Burning The Heather’ and ‘Agenda.’ Only came to £17.97, with free home delivery and 10% off. Thanks.

  3. Unlike Amazon where the deal lasts three minutes,
I could find something actually available !

So I opted for the Aretha box,
thanks Paul, and thanks Rough Trade :-)

    1. As are all UK to USA shipping costs for parcels of this size, having increased by 50% since early September, the work of Donald Trump and his lackey Louis DeJoy. Not Rough Trade’s fault, not the fault of the UK and Royal Mail.

  4. Thanks for this, been after a good deal on the Curtis for ages.

Got some other stuff too to bring the total above £70 so free postage.

  5. Jimi Hendrix
Rough Trade Note: this vinyl version does not include any additional content.
It means, that a 40-page full colour book filled with rare photos is not included?
