Hi Paul. Any chance the Roxby Music catalogue will be reissued on Blu-ray audio/5.1 for their 50th for us surround enthusiasts?
Yep, beats me why all decent bands don’t do a Doors Perception box type issue whether it be on SACD, DVD-A or Blu ray. Everyone’s getting on. Make it the best it can be & while there’s a demand.
Annoyingly the content of the Roxy LPs is exactly the same as the last ½ speed masters – it’s just a repress with marginally different sleeves, so why all the fuss?
They aren’t the same. Read the original post for more information.
Hooray ! XTC’s Bluray-CDs are available again…
Pixies CD boxset has been delayed to 13th May according to Amazon and HMV.
Annoyingly, The Pixies live set is delayed yet again, this time until 13th May!
Albums due for release on 1 April 2022 by a couple of great rock & roll artists: “Spencer Gets It Lit” by Jon Spencer and “Eyes Of Oblivion” by The Hellacopters.
Ryan Adams – Chris double album is out Friday but streaming only, download can be brought from his website but he says unlikely to be on Vinyl anytime soon due to the backlogs
Woohoo
It’s Q2 2022
Keep scrolling but keep listening to those super deluxes too!
(In Canada, anyway) – Dusty Springfield: “Dusty Sings Soul.”
