It really is a Harryfest this Summer. This box set looks (and hopefully sounds) the real deal. Along with the release of “Flash Harry” and the biography, we have now got a brand new web site devoted to him. If only someone could knock his last recordings into shape and give them an official release.
I am anxiously awaiting this one and glad I got my order in early from Amazon UK, since the price seems to have gone up quite a bit since then. The gatefold jackets and booklet are certainly a nice touch. I have the ELO set which is very nice and this one looks similar in quality. The remastered sound and tons of bonus tracks make this a must-have for any Harry Nilsson fan.
This might be the release of the year. Long since ordered from amazon.co.uk and looking forward to its arrival in Michigan. Bonus albums, extended versions and remaster – looks like some serious effort has been put in to this one.
The gatefold sleeves are a pleasant surprise. I was expecting minimal sleeves as per the Classic Albums series. Nice touch!
