Deal alert / Taste: I'll Remember
Excellent deal on Amazon Germany at the moment for I’ll Remember, the four disc anthology of Rory Gallagher’s first band Taste that was released in late August this year.
The set includes two newly remastered studio albums (Taste from 1969 and 1970’s On The Boards) with previously unreleased bonus tracks, a live CD (Live in Stockholm and London) and Belfast Sessions and Demos on the fourth and final CD.
This is a steal at around £17.50 (or €25) on Amazon Germany – that’s HALF the price of on the UK site at the moment.

Taste are an inspiration for me
I love this box set, yes the last 2 CDs sound terrible but the first 2 are incredible
Thanks Paul ordered this afternoon.
Good deal even with p and p.
Who the hell are Taste because they had no hit singles or albums in the UK charts ?
Thanks Paul, I`ve been waiting for the price to drop on this box set. Ordered with the Al Kooper Original Albums `box` which was less than a tenner in real money.
I bought this set when it was released. It’s amazing, but the sound quality, even of the studio albums, could have been better I think.
Couldn’t resist at this price – been waiting for a drop. Although the first two albums make it essential, from what I have heard of the live tracks I was pleasantly surprised they were not as bad as I thought they would be.
I just had to have it. It’s been on my wish list. It is now on my credit card. Damn.
Ordered. An absolute snip at just over 20 quid. Am a tad worried about the “bootleg” sound quality of the live discs according to some reviews. But those first two albums plus bonus cuts make it worthwhile for me.
Cheers for the heads up.
£21.21 including shipping to the UK. I am tempted but concerned about the quality of the live performances, studio recordings have been praised for their sound quality but if you buy a 4cd set you want to hear all of it, not just a quick listen to some rough live tracks included for historical value. Unless anyone can suggest they are worthy?
