  4. Hmv have done cracking deals on the Kate Bush boxsets CD and vinyl the vinyle’s are £45 CD ones £35 and £45

      Amazon has followed HMV on the Kate Bush vinyl and cd box set deals – they are the bargain of the year. Do I have them – yes; do I need them again – no; have I bought them – yes. I love accumulating Kate’s work.

      A box set of ‘the other sides’ on vinyl for not much more than the 12″ picture disc.

The Blue Hour is a cracking album – got it on the deal that was advertised before this one, and well worth getting. ‘Life is Golden’ and ‘Flytipping’ are up there with the best tracks they’ve recorded. Classy packaging, and the extras are pretty decent too. Love the one-sided 7″ track ‘Manipulation’ but it wouldn’t have fit stylistically on the album…perhaps the only downside is the box set doesn’t feature the blue coloured vinyl and there are no demos/rough versions/live tracks instead of a simple instrumental CD (wonder what vocalists think of releases where their vocals are stripped out? lol). Other than that, an amazing effort from Suede and long may they continue to reap the rewards of reforming!

  11. A brilliant album & no mistake. I don’t have a record player but I may even buy this edition for the extras.When it was released I was disappointed they never followed the hardback book ltd edition of Night thoughts.
