Current reggae & dub fiend, spurred on by the 40-years-too-late US release of the 1980 UK film, Babylon. Other notable obsessions are (or have been) Groove Armada, ESL Music, 4AD, Factory Records, Kate & Anna McGarrigle, Nick Drake, REM, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Abba, Captain & Tennille, the Xanadu soundtrack, Chipmunk Punk. I am particularly fascinated with immersive media and surround sound; be it Binaural, Quadraphonic, 5.1, or Atmos.
