Depeche Mode / Delta Machine
Delta Machine, the Essex boys’ first album for Columbia records is released today and is available in this 2CD deluxe edition.
Stephen Stills / Carry On 4CD box set
A beautifully packaged Stephen Stills box set, with a booklet that has clearly had a lot of time and effort spent on it. The music is not bad too…
The Eagles / Studio Albums 1972-1979 6CD box set
Probably all The Eagles most people would want – all the six classic seventies albums, rounded up and herded into this clamshell box.
Simple Minds / Celebrate: The Greatest Hits
A two-CD hits collection from Simple Minds or a more expansive three-CD set? You decide. Both come with two new tracks. Neither come with their version of Prince‘s Sign O’ The Times.
Midge Ure / The Works
A generous 33-track, 2CD collection of solo work from the ex-Ultravox Scot which includes his UK number one, If I Was in both standard and extended remix form.
Transvision Vamp deluxe reissues
Universal Music reissue Transvision Vamp‘s Pop Art and Velveteen albums this week on their ‘Re-presents…’ imprint. The trashy punk-pop band were popular in Australia as well as the UK in the late 1980s.
The Primitives / Everything’s Shining Bright The Lazy Recordings 1985 To 1987
Early singles, unreleased demos and live tracks feature in this two-CD set from indie-pop band The Primitives.
Status Quo / Classic Album Selection box set

Belinda Carlisle reissues on the way ? :)

I was THE person who bought the Transvision Vamp reissues (ha ha), and whilst they sound good and are fairly complete – bonus tracks wise the booklets do not appear to have been proof read. In the credits, Down on you claims to be a Jagger / Richards song and The Last Time a Transvision Vamp song. Whilst the music has definitely dated, I do like these 90s throwback albums, revisiting my youth and all that. When is the debut Bros album coming out in expanded format?
