  1. I think that the so-called single version of Don’t Rush Me was the same as the album version. I don’t hear a difference between the album version and the single version of this song on this deluxe set.

  2. It’s a great collection. Instrumental is just fine. Definitely not a cassette transfer. I wish everybody would release such deluxe reissues…

  3. Just got my copy from WowHD today, I finished disc 1 (only album versions of the singles & the bonus tracks)! Now disc 2 (just finished it, wow so many mixes/versions)! As William Power had mentioned, one side of the booklet is the red “tell it to my heart” cover, on the other side is the “don’t rush me” cover! As of the back inlay (tracklistings, spine texts & barcodes are both side)! I’m truly glad Cherry Red/Pop had read it (on superdeluxeedition) & listened to my suggestion. So both Tom M & me are very happy with the 2 different covers. First thing I did, was flipping both the booklet & the back inlay to the “Alternative” cover! When I get bored, I’ll flip it back to the cover I originally have the CD in the first place :D

@William Power, I believe TITMH instrumental version is just fine! It’s not exactly the same version/mix as the album/single mix. It could be an earlier/rougher version/mix! Sometimes record companies do that! Rick Astley Never Gonna Give You Up for example had an instrumental approximately single/album version’s length. But it’s not the backing track/TV track! So when you try to use it as a TV/backing track for sing-along/karaoke purpose you will get lost completely. Because some verse or bridge/chorus are missing or in a different order.

    Disc 1

10 Tell It To My Heart (Dub Of Hearts Mix) 6:51
11 Don’t Rush Me (Continental Dubhouse Mix) 5:37

  4. Have in hand… inlay can be reversed to use the alternate US picture

Prove Your Love – Dub is the 6.07 version
Prove Your love – Edited Remix is a longer 5.10 version than the 4.32 version on the US promo vinyl mixes

There are one or two evident subtle differences in audio source…. the album doesn’t sound from a master source to my ears when compared to my original CD pressing, possibly just a CD copy with the volume raised, as well as when compared to the superior sound characteristics of some of it’s tracks mixes elsewhere on this compilation which do appear to be from master source….except for Tell It To My heart Instrumental, which sounds slightly rough with some wow / flutter.. not quite as clear as expected…possible vinyl or cassette transfer there

Aside of her early Les Lee singles (albeit presenting a rights issue), it would have been nice to include some demo’s and previously unreleased mixes of which I understand there are many for Tell It To My Heart… but both discs are full to 80 minute capacity, so would have only left removing Prove Your love single mix as an option really…

We now need a 3 disc Taylor remixes compilation to root out the unreleased mixes from the U.S. archives

  5. Tell It To My Heart: Single and Album Versions were identical (maybe only a slightly different eq’ing)
Prove Your Love: AFAIK the Single Version was a remix!

  6. I think a great album, but Cherry Red is happening in the price, quite expensive out more than 2 pounds of difference with last edited’ll wait for a price reduction so that they can buy.

  7. Back then I thought Sony/BMG would have kept this to release themselves. Glad Cherry Red/Pop got this. So it’s the same as last year’s 2 Taylor Dayne-Deluxe Editions ;)

@Tom M, did you mean the Red Background cover or the one Same as “Don’t Rush Me” US Promo CD Single? I had the Red One, I prefer that! But perhaps Cherry Red/Pop can do the original Red One on the front of the booklet & the alternative you mentioned on the back (sometimes I did that to the CD’s which have photo’s on the front & the back of the booklet, when I got bored to the one)!

I checked on discogs everything’s (durations from discogs) are on the Deluxe Edition, except only some question marks:
    1. is Tell it to my heart on the album the same as The Single Mix?
    2. is Prove your love on the album the same as The Single Version?
    3. there are 2 Don’t rush me Dub Versions (5:41 on the regular CD Single & 6:07 on the US Promo CD Single)! Are there any differences between them & which one did Cherry Red/Pop go for?
