This set is at the time of writing just $59 Canadian which converts to less than £32! If you’re unfamiliar, this was issued in late 2012 and as well as the remastered original album this comes with 64 previously unreleased bonus tracks and a DVD of a live show filmed at the Brixton Academy. The 12″ x 12″ lift-top box has a magnetic closure, and contains a velvet-lined disc holder, two books and more.

I bought this when first released and happy with the contents including the mastering of the discs.
Problem is, they want more than half as much again for the shipping to the UK. And then there’s the prospect of tax to pay… thanks for the heads-up anyway!
Still think worst case scenario you’ll pay less than any UK price…
You’re probably right, Paul, but this one for me falls into the category of “vaguely want” rather than “must have”. And I’ve already indulged in the Knopfler / Simple Minds box sets thanks to your alerts this week…
