The Who / Track Records Singles Box
The Track Records Singles Box, the third volume of boxed Who singles will be released next month.
This set follows Brunswick and Reaction boxes but is a much bigger than both containing 15 seven-inch singles from the band’s Tracks Records era – featuring 45s like Pinball Wizard, I Can See For Miles and Won’t Get Fooled Again.
The singles are all pressed on heavyweight vinyl with paper sleeves (reproducing the period graphics front and back with die-cut centre holes). They come housed in a rigid ‘lid-and-tray’ outer box. This comes with a 20-page colour booklet with liner notes about each release and period memorabilia.
The Track Records Singles Box is released on 30 October 2015.

I love The Who, but at $174 or £100, are you kidding me? I can do without.
Boring. Why don’t they release these with selected European picture sleeves? Far more appealing.
Pictures sleeves would be nice, but I guess it’s for the authenticity of the original blank UK sleeves. What a glorious bunch of songs though. Unbelievable that Baba O’Reilly was not released as a single in the UK.
“Dogs” has been criminally ignored over the years on most Who compilations. Wonderful track. Makes me smile every time I listen to it. Much better than “Boris”, which wasn’t even a single but yet gets onto every compilation album. That’s always baffled me.
Well,I managed to get the Brunswick set for about €50.-,and the Reaction set for about €45.-.
This new one will set me back(at jpc)another €112.-(I get a discount there).
I estimate another about €80.- for the Polydor set sometime in December.
End result:about €285.- for just The Who’s singles, which all in all is VERY expensive IMHO!
My solution:I placed the first two sets up for sale at Ebay. Will I sell them I will not buy the Track and Polydor sets;if not I will keep all four of them.
Let fate decide!!
Wow there'[s a run of top notch singles and no mistake. I ducked the last one because of the price – wonder if this will be similarly pricey. Shame as the Brunswick set was really well done
