Agnetha Faltskog / “A” deluxe edition
Universal Music have issued a deluxe CD+DVD edition of ABBA star Agnetha Fältskog‘s 2013 solo album A.
The record was originally released back in May and features a collaboration with Gary Barlow called I Should Have Followed You Home which the pair performed together on BBC TV’s Children In Need show last month.
This new version of A comes with a bonus DVD which contains an hour long BBC documentary called Agnetha: ABBA & After. The standard version is still readily available and the album was also issued on vinyl.
A Deluxe Edition is out now.

Why is this DVD different to the original BBC doco. I notice it has been edited. Any reason? There seems to be a missing 5 minutes of info.
cheers, janet
A is an excellent album. “Dance your pain away” is a fantastic track! I am a little dissapointed about this deluxe edition. There are several remixes of the 3 internationally released singles out there – some are only available in digital form, so Universal Music do not suffer from lack of bonustrack-material.
I pass this is now the third version of the album. Reminds me of the latest deep purple cd.
It took me a few listens but I love this album. Don’t think that I’d part with more cash for the deluxe edition without the album having additional audio content, although the BBC documentary was excellent. It’s repeated on BBCFour’s ABBA night sometime over Christmas for those in the UK who missed it first time.
