  1. Not sure to be honest, will try to find out. The box retailed at £265 originally, but you can’t really find them for that price now…

    1. Yes, £375 and up seems the way now. I guess I missed this one as an investment. I got Station To Station and The Smile Sessions at rrp though.

      1. I had the Station to Station on pre-order through amazon.de for something like £79, then cancelled at the last minute because the 5.1 was getting a lot of negative feedback. Kind of regret that now since I never see these cheap always £120+ give or take…

  2. Apparently the uber box set is a limited edition but the info does not say how many of these box sets were manufactured. Anybody know? At nearly £400 I would hope it was extremely limited, perhaps to 500.

  3. It’s a missed opportunity isn’t it?

The packaging is great (all apart from the silly sunglasses, come on!) but the audio and video included is half-arsed.

This Uber set should have included every single audio piece released around AB, all the remixes, all the b-sides and all the odds and sods used on compilations and soundtracks.

The video portion should have included at least one of the unreleased concerts they have in their vaults.

    1. I think 10 discs is quite a lot, especially for the Super Deluxe anyway. I suppose they have to draw the line somewhere. Two CDs of remixes is already overkill for some, so to add more might have limited appeal.

At lease they have given us unreleased session tracks and Kindergarten. Some might consider those nicer to have than previously-released remixes, however obscure the remixes may be.

I do agree, an unreleased live gig would have been nice.
