  1. That would be quite the gift. He was an incredible songwriter. Your website is very imformative. Thanks to Paul Sinclair with all the criticle info
as he did about the replacement CD for 10 cc Tenology boxset.

  2. A songwriting genius who was often overlooked & never fully appreciated.
This complete boxset, including demo’s & other rarities would grace any music lovers collection, and keep me happy for years!

  3. Thanks for the highly informative website! It has been a fantastic source of information to me over the last couple of years – here’s to many more years of great information.

    Thanks for the competition!

  4. “Without You” has to be one of he best songs of the 1970s. I remember playing my brothers 7inch vinyl single of it back when I was about 10 (I am now 49) and I have loved the song ever since. To have this box set would be away to discover what other great songs he wrote and sang.

  5. I always thought “Son of Schmilsson” was the equal of the much more successful “Nilsson Schmilsson” and Harry’s song “Joy” is one of the best ever “country songs that isn’t a country song”. Would like to hear his later albums again as I am sure they would see better in hindsight than they were at the time when it was hard to come to grips with the rasp his voice had become.

  6. No, I can’t forget tomorrow,
When I think of all my sorrows,
When I had you there but then I let you go
And now it’s only fair that I should let you know
    What you should know

  7. Always been interested in Nilsson but for some reason never owned any of his albums. If I happen to win this would be a great way to get into his work.

  8. I only know a few of his hit songs, that’s why I want to win this box and hear more. If John Lennon liked him, that’s good enough for me.

  9. I hope it’s me. Pick me, pick me, pick me. I hope you get the point. Actually, since it’s in this box, I hope I get the point!

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  10. (thursday) here’s why I did not go to work today, never once anticipating the most beautiful world in the world, but definitely open to amas veritas by way of just a perfect day (not gonna concern myself if’n is this real? practical magic) something true gotta give it up (pt. 1) for mother nature’s son, that is, and the one after 909 tunin’ up a P.O.V. waltz ’round ’bout happy days toytown newspaper smile, so’s most likely n’est conclusively I guess the lord must be at superdeluxeedition.com city url and all that…and crystal spaceman that you are you think about this kiss your (girlfriend and her) troubles – fortunately (or unfortunately) me and my arrow man paul and those merry unautotuned pranking superluxers lined up for the lottery song by song…. then turned right around and did it again (anything to win a competition), she drank ’em bot’ up and as best as you can or might have figured anyways as time goes by (it’s been so long) down by the sea on top of mr. richland’s favorite song I remember (christmas) back in the beehive state and everybody’s talkin’ wishin’ and hopin’ circa 1941 wink shy of the wailing of the willow then good for god, the creek don’t rise, jesus christ you’re tall and that’s easier for you to say poli high where you gotta get up, turn on your radio and if you ever did believe in a free lunch, you’re breakin’ my heart cause I don’t win this go turn out the light down a whole gog coconut and jump into the fire finito! regardless, thanks for the memory and yes, the editorial as well (that’s one reason, for sure), with releases like this pretty soon there’ll be nothing left for everybody. and ain’t that the point?

  11. It was nice to have briefly met him at a Los Angeles Beatlefest all those years ago (1981). I still have his autograph on, of all things, a copy of the L.A. Times with a story on him from that time. So, please enter me in the contest, too.

  12. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW…………………..WTF?……………………..GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. I was 15 when I first heard Without You , it became the second record I owned, and it still has that magic feel 43 years later- timeless. Would love to explore Nilsson more, here’s hoping!

  14. Nilsson has been on my “need to listen to more in depth” list for a few years now. Only know his really famous tunes, so putting my name in.
