The 30th Anniversary box set of Tears For FearsThe Hurting is out today!

If you haven’t had a chance to take a look at this superb reissue, then please view our photo gallery – in the meantime we have a fabulous Tears For Fears competition to announce…

One lucky SuperDeluxeEdition reader will win a copy of the 3CD+DVD Hurting box set along with a money-can’t-buy-it white label seven-inch vinyl test pressing of Change b/w The Conflict. Only 500 of these newly pressed Change seven-inch singles were given away with early box set pre-orders at the Universal box set store, but the white label test pressings are even rarer – only a handful exist, making this the ultimate prize for any Tears For Fears fan!

Not only that, the box set itself has now official SOLD OUT. Once Amazon and other retailers’ stock levels are depleted, there will be no more available and it is not going to be repressed.

To be in with a chance of winning this superb prize, please visit our Facebook page and follow the instructions. A winner will be announced on Friday 1 November 2013.

  1. It´s the same for me – I’m too oldschool for facebook, but this also qualifies me to win the boxset. It would absolutely fit beneath my superare Tears for fears – The remixes 2CD, which I love so much.

  2. ‘Tears For fears’ are yet another band that prove how good a lot of the music was back in the 1980s! In my ears, the best decade for music and certainly better than a lot of what is around today.

  3. Just received my copy that i had ordered through the official UK universal
site. I ordered my copy on the 5th of August and it said that it would include an exclusive limited 7″ single. But it didn’t. Buhhhh

    1. Totally disagree. For me, they just got better and better, at least until Curt left.

I’d also love to win the boxset but I’m not on Facebook…
