Deal Alert / ABBA: Singles box
ABBA‘s recent The Singles box set brings together 40 seven-inch vinyl records to celebrate 40 years since the group burst on the scene with Waterloo at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. Now at the lowest price ever.
At the time of writing can be picked up for under £100 on Amazon UK .
I do like good condition packaging, but at this point you are paying £40 for a box, which doesn’t seem like great value.
They are also offering the ‘damaged packaging’ sets for £60. £1.50 per 7″ single.
Yeah, and the damaged sets, originally despatched by and returned to Amazon, are now available “repackaged” (ie no box) without the download codes – they shouldn’t be able to get away with it!
Let’s just hope Amazon doesn’t set it out to you like they did package-less to a fellow Australian.
I had successfully held off from making this totally unnecessary purchase for so long that I’d practically forgotten about this box-set’s existence.
My bank account is now £99 lighter.
Damn this website!
