Deal Alert (again) / Allman Brothers Band: Fillmore East 6CD box
Having been £70 for quite a while, it was great news for Allman Brothers Band fans when Amazon UK reduced the price of the forthcoming 1971 Fillmore East Recordings 6CD box to just under £40 in recent weeks. I don’t think anyone expect this set to drop any further but that is exactly what has happened today.
You can now purchase this from Amazon UK for a pretty incredible £27! If you are buying from outside the EU, then it’s even cheaper because the the tax (VAT) comes off. For instance this will cost just under US $39 plus shipping. By comparison, the Amazon US price is currently $68.00
The 1971 Fillmore East Recordings is out on 29 July.

Thanks for the heads up Paul
Ordered last night, £27 .50 on Amazon UK
This morning it’s £47.50
I checked Amazon this morning and the price is back up – way up.
Thanks, it’s a great deal and I’ve pre-ordered. However, I too would prefer the 3 x Blu-ray audio but am I correct in saying that this may be exclusive to the US? It’s still $99.00 on Amazon.com which is pretty steep IMO.
No, because it’s on Amazon Germany > http://amzn.to/1sACbfi I can only assume it will end up on Amazon UK at some point…
Cancelled my US order and ordered from the UK… might have to wait a couple extra days but savings was more than worth it.
Another great deal alert! Couldn’t pass this bargain by…
I want the BluRay !
Thank you Paul! Got my order in quickly this time.
Wish the price of the blu-ray would drop.
Why wait? How could you possibly lose by pre-ordering? You can always cancel if it turns up cheaper somewhere else.
Another Amazon overstock . . they’re selling at cost (no VAT obviously) – their loss on this is probably worth more in warehouse space.
Given how this is happening a lot, it’s not really worth preordering . . just wait a bit.
