Rhino’s recent Faces five-LP vinyl box You Can Dance, Sing Or Anything 1970-75, is available for a superb price Amazon Italy at the time of writing!
Don’t forget this set, which includes the four albums and a Stray Singles & B-sides rarities disc, is taking the non-digital approach and has been cut straight from the analogue tapes. Also, the 180g vinyl comes packaged in sleeves that “meticulously” recreate the original release. For instance, when you push the sleeve for Ooh La La, the man’s eyes move and his mouth opens.
It’s just €86 on Amazon Italy which is just £62. Compare that to £95 on the UK site. This works out to around about $80 US, once VAT is deducted.

I have just bought the lp box, very good sound, but there is a very big mistake
the lp stray singles and b sides contains the lp long player. Could someone help me please!!!!!!!!!!!
My vinyl arrived today and I am very impressed with the quality of both the vinyl and the sleeves. Thick card, all reproduced exactly like the originals, and at the price I paid Amazon.it for it, it is a steal!
Shame about no download codes and that Amazon EU restrict the Autorip to local purchases only.

I’ve been holding out on this one, in the hope there would be a nice price drop and here it is! However, as with all non-UK Amazon purchases, I won’t be entitled to the autorip function. Do you know if these come with download cards?

I ordered one of the VU sets from Amazon.it and it was actually mailed from Amazon in the UK…although charged for delivery from Italy!
My copy is on the way from Amazon UK: given my hit rate for poor quality new vinyl. A return is easy and also the autorip that come with it seems to be the CD set so I’ll hopefully get the extra tracks.
Had convinced myself that I did not need this set, what with Bowie, Quo, Jam, Small Faces etc all offering up enticing sets, but this bargain basement price swiftly changed my mind. Total cost to UK £67.21

Standard shipping is 22 Euros from Amazon Italy so the total is 91.21 Euros shipped. Apparently I get no break on shipping even though I’m Amazon Prime in the USA.

ordered a wee while back but does the vinyl include the bonus stuff the CD box does? do we get it via “Autorip” on Amazon? Does Autorip from Amazon.it work in the UK? Arrgh, so many questions……oh well, Friday tomorrow folks.
I believe the bonus stuff for each album is only on the cd version of this box set.
Autorip only works on Amazon UK for UK customers, i.e. You will not get the autorip when ordering from Amazon Italy.
