Not only does this set sound great, the packaging is very good too with thick card vinyl replica sleeves and ‘drawer’ style outer box.

Hate to rub it in but I picked this up in HMV in Brighton post xmas……..for £5!!!!! Even the assistant thought I had swapped the price label but it was genuine…best deal I have ever had!!!
Fopp in London had loads of Tears For Fears The Hurting boxes for £5 a while back. They are now out of print.
Bryan Ferry himself payed me £20 to get a copy of this box, best fucking deal ever!!!

The Fleetwood Marc, just got mine today from Speedyhen. A heads up about this, they say on the Ebay listing, delivery by Royal Mail. This is not true, it is delivered by the dreaded Yodel!! so be warned. They also do not send tracking numbers. Mine arrived, but the box is slightly concaved a bit
Thanks Karen. God, Yodel are awful ! I shall wait and see what condition my copy turns up in (whenever Yodel get around to delivering it..). Bit sneaky of the ebay seller to list it as Royal Mail delivery, I personally actively avoid any Yodel usage wherever possible.

Let us know if you receive your Fleetwood Mac ok. With me ordered on Tuesday. Friday evening had email saying it was dispatched, by Royal Mail!!!. Saturday 14.55 Yodel arrived with the packet.

I bought this wonderful set for an unbelievable £18.55 from Base… Probably my best-ever bargain spot : ) it’s never been anywhere near that mis-price again!

Christine, yes it was there and was there for the past three days. You have to be quick off the ball to bag these deals as they usually don’t hang around for long.
It has been over £100 for weeks now on the uk Amazon site but had recently dropped to about £55. If as someone said it has been repressed then it may drop further. You just have to keep checking and not just waiting for an email from Paul.
I always wait for emails from Paul, whatever they are about. Just because it’s Paul, you know?
Marvin, I love it – the ‘Great SDE Deal Alert Conspiracy’. I have a vision of all the Amazon staff around Europe logged on to SDE and pulling the deals after a few minutes!
Haha I do *try* to pick things that I think have half a chance of lasting, but it’s a lottery. Some are still there after days (see Fleetwood Mac, or Simon & Garfunkel) and others disappear after 5 mins!

Got the SDE email alert at 6.42pm. Immediately went to the German Amazon price, it’s already gone back up to 79,41 Euro.
Makes me wonder Paul… this seems to be happening every time…are Amazon staff receiving your deal alerts under anonymous registration and pulling the reduced price as soon they get your mail ?
I would imagine that the Amazon U.K. price may drop a little bit lower before release.

I’m in London and I had the same problem…I clicked but nothing happened…also, it says “available from March 30th”
And more important, the mastering is pretty great!
