WILLIAM ENGLAND

I would have e-mailed this but I really don’t want a Google account (or any social media) thank you…
The Move albums are having yet another reissue – this time as 2xCD sets – in May.
Pre-order options are available but the prices are very erratic at the moment.
(Did I ever mention that I used to have a 4 track acetate from a small studio in Birmingham which had each member providing vocals for one track each – the Ace Kefford track was amazing (and surprisingly, the Roy Wood track was very weak).
Seemed to me that this was the disc they too around to Deram to get signed.
All four songs never reappeared on singles or the first album.

What is one step beyond flogging a dead horse?

It’s definitely the most underwhelming of the boxes – particularly if you already have the two-disc Loaded and Live at Max’s. But I got it for a decent price from a deal on here when it was released so…

By coincidence I listened to the Second Fret disc in the box for the first time today. To call it lo-fi would be a compliment.

Still waiting for the third album the Velvet Underground to come down never seen it at a decent price. All the others I’ve snapped up at a good price

Giles Roditi

Thanks Paul, was also holding out since I already have the previous 2 disc edition but this will now nicely match my other VU SDEs. Looking forward to the 5.1 especially.

David

I think it was around this price when it first came out. Decent, but not quite good enough for me.The audio content is pretty good, but if the book is like the one that came with “The Velvet Underground” deluxe set then it could be a bit underwhelming. Blank pages or ones with just a few words on to make it bigger.

Good deal. Been waiting a long time for this to come down a bit. Thank you…
