Interesting day for RSD final drop, even some of the larger retailers have items on eBay at normal prices.
Looking at the amount of vinyl “specials” this year the bottom has fallen out of the market.
The volume of mediocre releases and ill-conceived pricing coming home.
Look at Calexico Hot Rail would you go for to an unopened original copy at £19.99, the 2010 reissue including Crystal Frontier at £21.00 or the 2020 Grey vinyl at £27.99. Hot Rail is a great album but to re-issue it in 2020 without the extras. Compared with the 2018 rather wonderful 20th anniversary issue of Black Light and the 11 extra tracks included on the second vinyl, which you can pick up for £24.00. Must try harder record company.
