  1. If you like that sort of thing, the Lindemann Live In Moscow CD + Blu-ray deluxe edition is currently £18.68 and sliding on Amazon UK, so it may go cheaper again. Not bad considering it was a tad under £29 less than 10 days ago….

  2. Not a huge saving but the no-frills Fleetwood Mac Live 3CD reissue is down to about £14 on Amazon UK.

Also, the CSNY Deja Vu 50th Anniversary 4CD/1LP set has lost £10 from its release price and it’s down to £55.

  3. Durutti Column’s Circuses and Bread 2LP colored vinyl reissue @ deepdiscount for $3.84 US after the typical 10% code. Slightly higher at their alias sites. Not a typo.

At this price, I would have bought it if it contained 18 interpretations of John Cage’s 4’33.

  4. For anyone who bought Archives II from Amazon Spain, please check the contents – I received it today and it contained two copies of Disc 2, and no Disc 3. I’m sure Amazon will sort it out, but a bit of a pain I’ll no doubt need to return to Spain and wait for another to be sent.

    1. Mine arrived on Friday and all contents as hoped as well – not convinced it shipped from Spain. Now all I need is for Archives I to be re-released in the same “retail” version.

    2. Thanks for confirming oskar & Andrew, looks like a one-off. I think this is shipping from the UK. Amazon Spain were super helpful, but unbelievably the replacement that they sent by express delivery was claimed to be delivered by Hermes (proof of delivery is a blurry image that could be anything), so I don’t know if it’s been lost, stolen or delivered to the wrong address!

  5. Neil Young’s Rust Bucket vinyl, CD, DVD box set was £63 for Prime Day on Amazon UK yesterday but they’ve knocked it down to £65 today anyway.

And the Young Shakespeare box set is back below £40 (it’s £37 currently)

  6. Bought this last month. But not at this bargain price :( No matter, the quality of work on this made £120 seem acceptable. He not only puts effort into his songs but equal effort I find into how they’re sent out into the world.

  7. Just browsing and seen that Amazon in the U.S. has got Jimi Hendrix Songs For Groovy Children vinyl box set (8 discs?) for $80 or £60. Think this is a fabulous price and my credit card was twitching ready to bite but as I live in ENGLAND it won’t let me buy it!

    1. It’s easy to see which you’ve been sent – the sets with the faulty dvd has it inserted into the book (like the rest of the discs), the replacement dvda are in card sleeves pasted over the original slit. Hope that helps…

    1. Yes bought it for £81 this afternoon and just checked and it’s still £81 as it has been all day. (Unless you’re being geoblocked /aren’t signed into prime etc as £112 was the non-prime price)

      1. Thanks for checking Nathan – there’s some geo-blocking going in. Mona Bone offer doesn’t carry through to the checkout while Tea can’t be availed of. The curse of Brexit (I’m in Ireland). Amazon are aware of this “internal issue” but think it will take some time to fix. By which stage, the deals will be over….

  8. The Cat Stevens boxes are also on super sale at Amazon US: about $89 (50% off) for Mona Bone Jakon. I thought I got a good deal a few months ago at 30% off! Tea for the Tillerman is about $102.

  9. Ooo, Amazon are being naughty. I’ve been tracking Jean-Michel Jarre’s “Amazonia” for a couple weeks now. Last night it was at an odd price, new from Amazon, of £11.16. They are now showing it on sale at 10.25, down from £12.99. Honestly, it’s not been £12.99 new for some time. They should not be quoting that £12.99 price at all. Pretty sure that’s actually against the law – not that I’d ever pursue it. Just thought it worth noting.

    1. I believe that technically as long as they have sold it at £12.99 at some point over the previous 6 months then it’s legal – you say you’ve only watched it for a few weeks so doesn’t really mean anything unless you had been watching it for 6 months & could prove it had never been £12.99 for at least 28 days of that 6 month period. The system is even looser for physical stores where a store (HMV for example) could charge a higher price in one store in the middle of nowhere for a month then in every store they can claim the price is reduced even though it had only been at the higher price in only that single store out of their hundreds of stores.

      1. Fair enough. I wouldn’t personally sue them. lol

Still, I do think it’s worth noting that the “savings” they claim are suspect. In this case the difference is minuscule (just a £1.50), but that said – when I see “was £12.99”, then I expect it to have actually been that price at least the day before. That was definitely not the case here. The savings in this case was around 80p.

  10. Not a lot to get excited about … though I found the Yardbirds (Roger The Engineer) 3CD/2LP/7″ SDE – with the Amazon exclusive signed art print – included in the deals.  It’s usually £63.99 but the Prime Day Exclusive Deal Price is only £63.97 !!

    1. An anomaly I guess since it hasn’t even been released yet & they don’t normally include pre-orders in offers like this. If I remember correctly the release date for this set had been pushed back so may have originally been intended for a deal & someone forgot to update it when the release date was pushed back.

  11. Not overly impressed with the Prime Day deals (except the Elton John one – that’s a beauty) – the most hilarious “deal” is a whopping 2p off the Amazon exclusives – e.g. the signed Yardbirds – Roger The Engineer down from £63.99 to £63.97 or Bluetones – Expecting To Fly 25th Anniversary vinyl down from £59.99 to £59.97 etc.

      1. Not sure.

There’s 12p off the Foo Fighters coloured vinyl, 1p off the Bob Marley Rainbow LP, 44p off the Arlo Parks lp, 2p off the Morcheeba CD, 2p off the Shame CD.

Basically, they’re just using prime day as a way to advertise their exclusives but I think there must be a technical limitation that prevents them from selling stuff for the same price as normal.

I don’t really care too much – they can sell their products how they want, it’s just funny seeing them promoting an exclusive deal that’s just 1p off.
