  1. Still a touch overpriced, but the Fleetwood Mac Live box is just under £50 on Amazon UK.

    Similarly a bit overpriced but the New Order Movement Definitive Edition box is also down a little in price to £66.

  5. Not a huge saving but the Caught Beneath The Landslide (Signed Amazon Exclusive) 4CD is down to £26

    Also, worth noting that WHSmith has £10 off when you spend £50 or more (using code SUNSHINE, valid til the 19th) – so you can get something like the new Pretty Things BBC box set for £41 (free delivery) which puts it below Amazon. Not sure if you can daisy-chain the additional 10% off when you sign up to the newsletter alongside it too but worth a try I guess.

    1. I’m not on the Public Image limited mailing list but I still got a notification, as Townsend sent it to the entire world & it sold out 10 minutes after the email was sent, so someone wanted it !

  8. I decided to wait on the John Lennon Plastic Ono Band box, $88 is still too much. The Imagine box was around €50 on sale in various countries in Europe. The Plastic Ono box has 2 more cds so it should come out to about €65 on sale. That’s $77. I think this box will come down another $10 somewhere in Europe.

    2. On ebay uk for the rest of today you can get it for £72 delivered (seek out the Music Magpie store on ebay, find the listing for the £84 one – ie the ‘brand new’ one vs the used one – and there’s a 15% discount)

      It will almost inevitably drop one day in a promo or something to £50-ish but if you can’t wait, £72 is not bad.

    3. Agreed. I’m waiting too as I did for Imagine and Gimme Some Truth boxes. I reckon anything less than €82 takes it below £70, and I’d go for that -subject to geo-blocking of course. Is that still happening?

    Bob Dylan’s More Blood, More Tracks: The Bootleg Series Vol. 14 6CD set is down to £81 (still pricey that one but it’s about £20 cheaper than it’s been for a few months)

    There’s also a few £ off Dylan’s Another Self Portrait (1969-1971): The Bootleg Series Vol. 10 4CD set (£58).

  11. eBay have one of their fairly regular X% off deals going at the moment (BAG15OFF). As always, there’s a lot of trawling and filtering BUT I did see a few things at a reasonable price (these are after discount):

    Haven’t checked each against Amazon to see if there’s any price matching or not but the prices seem decent.

    1. The same set’s been available for £64 on Amazon UK for most of the last month (although not at present). I’ve been monitoring the price in the hope it would drop even lower.
