Japan – Quiet Life box set is £33 on Amazon UK (in the Early BF deals)
https://amzn.to/3Clcjx7
Also, Prince – Welcome 2 America is currently on Amazon UK for £41, but this is from a 3rd party seller and it has expected delivery to UK not until 20th Dec. So, maybe too good to be true. Amazon’s price is £77 though!
New Joni Mitchell-set for 40,– Euro here:

Look at this tasty bargain: https://amzn.to/3wQN8RI
£40.95 for Prince’s Welcome 2 America box!
As I write this there’s a couple of signed copies of the The Sound Of McAlmont & Butler [Limited Signed Edition] for £19 on Amazon UK. It’s the 2LP/3CD edition.
https://amzn.to/3Hnnvgp
Good spot Matt, price has gone unfortunately
I got mine on a previous deal alert a few months ago and it wasn’t signed. Didn’t make a stink because it was so cheap (£17) so these babies may not be signed but for £19, it’s a steal. Thanks Matt D!!
Metallica – “Black Album” 3CD edition is down to £16.72 on Amazon UK
(Though it’s also still down to £14.72 if you want to get it from Music Magpie on eBay).
The “Can – Live in Brighton” 3lp box set is down to £13 on Amazon UK
Thanks
Black Crowes – Shake Your Money Maker 3CD softpack version is down to £14.99 on Amazon UK and HMV.
Be Bop Deluxe Axe Victum Superdeluxe 48€ at Amazon Germany. Cheers. Pablo
Thanks for the email as usual.
Had my eye on Neil Young Archives II for a while but the £110 price kept putting me off as I already had two previously released albums from it.
Your email announced £70 from Amazon Italy and it was here in 3 days.
The only issue now is she won’t let me have it until Christmas.
Let it be 5LP edition is 110€ on Amazon Spain!
That’s an extraordinary price, but be aware there have been many reports of audio problems with the vinyl set. Loads of discussion on Hoffman about it.
I have the Let It Be 4LP/12”EP and have had no issues whatsoever. The same is true for most on the Steve Hoffman Forum. Yes there have been some complaints but they are in the very small minority. I’ve played all five vinyl LPs/EP and they sound great to my ears.
Great price Phil, go for it. I own it and no issues with my copy. I stopped listening to those folk on the Hoffman forums many moons ago, they always try to pick faults. They are a strange lot imo, just enjoy the music
My copy is fine too, no complaints
In a massive middle finger to those of us who preordered, Joni’s Archives Vol 2 has been reduced by £10 to £49.99 on amazon.co.uk. The day after release date.
they do that. contact them and they normally will give you a refund/voucher
Tried but they just weren’t interested. So I got my partner to order it with her Prime account, and as soon as it arrives I’ll return mine.
Same thing happened to me years ago on a blu-ray. I preordered for what was probably list price, it shipped on or about release day, and my horror after opening it finding not only did Best Buy have it for $12 less, so did Amazon.
I contacted Amazon customer no-service, asked why I was being penalized for pre-ordering, and all I got was “we can’t adjust the price after it ships.” So I bought a copy at Best Buy, and sent that one back to Amazon.
Sure, I took a $3 hit on return shipping, but still was in a better place than if I hadn’t, and relieved most of my aggravation.
The Official New Order Store have a Black Friday sale running for 2 weeks. Great discounts available. Power, Corruption and Lies super deluxe box set is £73 and the store exclusive Education Entertainment Recreation super deluxe boxset is down to £84
This Is Dig have sale on their stuff. Couple of decent prices (CSNY Deja Vu box set is £52, couple of the Led Zep super deluxe boxes down to £80). Maybe worth a trawl.
https://shop.thisisdig.com/uk/black-friday-sale.html?dir=desc&order=price
NOW 1984 Yearbook 4 CD deal available again…..
Ordered the Marillion set for17 quid which i’m well pleased with, just wish i’d ordered the clutching at straws box set when i had chance! Hoping they will release it again at some point!
The Beatles Let it Be is showing as €90.93 at Amazon Spain but when added to basket becomes €94.42 without explanation, shipping to UK is €4.68 making it about £85 sterling in total. Still cheaper than the UK price.
Ebay have a 20% early Black Friday thing on. A few bits and pieces in here maybe worth looking at. A few of the recent Al Stewart and Be Bop Deluxe sets are down at around £40-45.
There’s a £9.99 min spend on stuff but if you’re getting a couple of the cheaper things, worth noting that the 2CD deluxe book edition of the Manics’ Restistance Is Futile would be just over £3 (three pounds) after discount, which is an insanely low price.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/e/coupon-offers/12112120-media
Beach Boys Fell Flows big box comes down to £62.63 with the Ebay 20% off from Musicmagpie
Yeah, 20% is not bad. Seen a few things meself. Does anybody know if there are other vinyl/cd outlets on ebay other than musicmagpie to use the deal.
Japan’s Quiet Life box set down to £27.67 with voucher.
The 3LP box set of Small Faces – Ogdens Nut Gone Flake is down to £43 on Amazon UK as one of their early Black Friday deals.
There’s a 3rd party seller on Amazon UK shifting both the Cat Stevens – Tea For The Tillerman and Mona Bone Jakon super deluxe sets for £67 a piece.
(And the Marillion Fugazi deal reappeared at £17)
Yep bought my Tillerman box set from that seller last month (reflexcd2 ) very good service excellent price !
I’ve ordered from them before & the cd shipped from Newcastle, so i’m assuming that ‘ReflexCD2’ on Amazon is ‘Reflex’ which is a small indie record shop in Newcastle city centre, which I’ve also shopped in physically in the past (& via their own website) – actually, on their own website the sets are even lower at £59.99
Primal Scream – Screamadelica: The 12″ Singles (Box Set) is currently £81 at amazon UK, as cheap as it can be found anywhere
https://superdeluxeedition.com/news/primal-scream-demodelica-and-screamadelica-12-inch-box-set-picture-disc/
I so wanted to get this originally, but bailed out due to the fact I had most of the tracks already on the last anniversary CD set I got. The reviews seem to be a bit hit and miss about it, so I think I’ll leave it.
Let It Be SDE 4 vinyl edition oferta flash reduced by 40 euro at Amazon spain – now selling at 109 euro
Thanks. I am seeing it at €109 but when I try to check it out in the basket, it jumps to €129. Anyone else having this issue?
Likely VAT correction to reflect the VAT rate in your country. But 20 euro is too much for this to be the case
Thanks Claude but I understand that that is not the case because I am within the EU (Ireland).
Yep, Goats Head Soup deluxe went from 69 to 80 in the basket last week for me.
Cherry Red have a 20% off 80s & 90s pop offer on at the moment.
https://www.cherryred.co.uk/80s-and-90s-pop-sale/
BUT the pick of stuff I just found on that site (unrelated that offer) is the exceptional 5CD edition of Mercury Rev’s Secret Migration for £14.99.
Blimey!
Now that’s a good price for the Neil, thanks Paul – £75 all in
Not quite that insanely cheap price from a couple of weeks ago, but Prince’s Welcome 2 America LP/CD/BR set is down to £60 on Amazon ES
Cheers Matt. Link > https://amzn.to/3F4m3NQ
Think that’s the full bells-and-whistles one (still not a bad price) – the slightly more pared back version, just the LP, CD, BR one (€71), is here
https://amzn.to/3n6auzE
Neil Young – Archives II CD set is down to £70 on Amazon IT (£75 total including postage)
On Amazon UK…

Phenomenal – INSANE!! – price for Bob Dylan’s “More Blood, More Tracks” at Amazon Canada on Tuesday afternoon, November 9, 2021… CAN$93.99. Are you kidding me?
https://amzn.to/30efQjC
Yeah, I picked up my copy last week for an equally insane €58 (£48) from Amazon ES.
It’s still at that price too.
Not sure why this deal is not getting published. It is still $79 on Amazon USA. By far the lowest I have seen anywhere.
The Waterboys 7 disc box The Magnificent Seven + book.
https://amzn.to/3wxCaAp
For EU customers, I think the best deal on this is Amazon.de, worked out about €10 cheaper than the US and €15 better than the UK for me…..
Further to my note below on the 25% discount at the US Udiscover Music store, Public Image Limited, The Public Image Is Rotten, 7 disc box set now only $60. Discount gets taken once you put the item in your basket. Free shipping.
https://shop.udiscovermusic.com/collections/box-sets/products/public-image-the-public-image-is-rotten-songs-from-the-heart-cd-dvd-boxset
Hi Kauwgompie, thanks for the tip(s). You mention free shipping… only within US and not to Europe? Or do you know something I dont ?

The US Udiscover Music store has 25% off this week. The Tattoo You box is now $112 and the Let It Be box is now $104, both with free shipping. I had some free UDiscover Music gift cards that I accrued and now redeemed so was able to buy both boxes for under $100. I only buy from there when they have 25% off and somehow had 2 gift cards totaling $26 so keep an eye on that store. They are not bad.

Has anyone who ordered the signed Tori Amos CD from her official site actually received it?
Mine arrived today, and it’s not signed. Despite the order confirmation, despatch email and the delivery note with the disc saying “Ocean To Ocean Signed CD”.
Have you actually opened it? There should be a signed card inside.
Yes, there’s no signed insert, and neither the cover or booklet are signed.
Weird. Mine had a round ‘SIG’ sticker on the back. I was a bit disappointed it the front cover wasn’t signed, but at least the card was in there.
Ah, no sticker on mine. And now it’s sold out, so I can’t imagine they’ll be able to do anything.
Phil, Mine wasn’t signed either – no signature on either the cover or booklet, and definitely no signed card enclosed (or ‘SIG’ sticker). Like you my original invoice and the delivery note which came with the CD clearly states signed – very disappointing. Immediately raised a query with customer services, so we’ll see … Ho hum …
Phil – my experience is exactly as yours is, the “SIG” shrink wrap, but no insert card and I’ve checked each of the many pages and the sleeve itself and nothing is signed at all, so I have written to customer services asking them to sort. Clearly they do the signed thing to get people to buy earlier and help a better chart position, rather than wait and buy at a discount (although a #25 entry may not have been worth it!) That they can’t even sort out inserts in at least two “Signed” copies is pathetic. Hopefully this will be resolved by them sending a separate card, but then they will incur extra postage and admin and if all the signed cards have been used, will they ask Tori to sign some more for the missing ones? It shouldn’t be this hard to do a decent job – do they actually pay someone to check them – might be worth it!
So that’s three now including me – wonder how many more there are – very poor (last time this happened was with the latest Ricky Warwick album, and whoever fulfils for him then acknowledged these were widely missing and sent out signed booklets under separate cover) – hopefully this can be remedied otherwise I will be requesting a refund since if we just shrug and accept it then things won’t improve going forward.
Count that 4, mine was also empty.
Rich, Did you get a reply from customer services please? I contacted them over a week ago about my non-signed signed copy and absolutely no response … no great …
Received my Tori cd today, happily with a signed card inside .
Not a big saving but the Fleetwood Mac Live 3CD edition is down from £14.29 (been at that price for ages) to £11.99 on Amazon UK.
Fleetwood Mac Live 3CD is price matched at £11.99 at HMV on the website and instore. Reductions on the HMV website and instore also for Supergrass In For The Money 3CD at £11.99, Roger Taylor Outsider CD for £8.99 and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Angel Dream CD at £8.99
Not much going on at the moment, but over on Amazon UK both the new Pretenders 3CD releases (Pretenders & Pretenders II) came out today and immediately dropped £6 to £30 each.
(side note – the Bowie deal is finished)
Just noticed that the DM Ultra 12″ Singles collection is down to £127 on Amazon UK. Still a bit pricey, but less than I paid at 140 something :(
Let it be 50th anniversary boxset down in price on Amazon UK. £117 for vinyl set and £95 for CD set
Primal Scream – Screamadelica: The Singles 12″ box set is £10 off down to £99 on Amazon UK (just give the vinyls a really good check over if you get it – from the reviews on the site it’s getting pelters for quality control issues)
Yep! I was one of those people! What you’ll find is that the tracks on the A sides of the 1st 2 12″ singles are the wrong way round ie the farley mix is on the original mix 12″ and vice versa plus the 1st 12″ has annoying click/jump on the b side on I’m losing more than I’ll ever have. Happily these tracks are repeated on the 2nd 12″ but that’s not the point, the quality control is rubbish even though it’s come down in price. I bought it elsewhere and had the same issue having had it replaced and therefore bought it twice from Amazon. The 3rd time is exactly the same as the other 2 from Amazon but the website I bought it from let me keep it rather than return it and refunded me the money so it wasn’t so bad but I hope at some point Sony might replace them though I dunno if I’m the only one affected.
15% off when you spend £20 at eBay until Thursday. Some great deals to be had.

Beatles – Abbey Road Super Deluxe CD set £44

Loads of other non-deluxe recent releases and pre-orders in there too (e.g. Oasis Knebworth blu-ray is £14 if you’re buying more than one thing to take it over the £20 threshold, for example)
Thanks for the link.
Doh!
You need a link to ebay?
Yet.. Bezos can fly to the UK IN $48 Mill Jet for 2 days but cant ship a lower cost CD en massa out of Canada? Mr Trudea has this one sown up for sure.
May I suggest Paul, you start slowly distancing yourself from Amazon? Merely a suggestion bien sur? Nothing to come out of Canada, nothing to go in to Canada? what is going on?
Amazon CA not allowing shipping to UK address or am i doing something wrong ( most likely ! ) ?
Nope, only ships in Canada.
Finally broken down and ordered! A companion piece to my favourite Bowie album, so no excuse really!
Same. I’d been waiting for it to come down a wee bit and £13.50 felt like a good price to jump on.
I bought this because its an essential piece of Bowie history. But it should have had a vinyl release.
There was a 10″ EP issued which was exclusive to Bowie store. Probably Width of a Circle wasn’t on vinyl due to long lead times and sales may not have been high enough for a production run, especially as it would probably have been a triple LP. Finding myself less likely to buy Bowie vinyl these days after the RSD exclusives and the stress of getting Brilliant Live Adventures. And the very high prices. Will probably just listen to this and the forthcoming Toy and Brilliant Adventures on Apple Music unless they all drop very dramatically in price.
I have been picking up the old Ryko CDs on eBay on the cheap in recent months.
There is a 4 track 10″ avaiable from Bowie’s official store for £13.99.
https://shop.davidbowie.com/products/the-width-of-a-circle-10-lp
Note, there is no auto rip at this price. Been around £14 for a while for this seller.
This Bowie boxset is excellent and incredibly cheap. If you don’t have it, I recommend it strongly.
Bought on that recommendation! Thanks Remi and Paul for the heads up
If you’re a hardcore Bowie fan you’ll want it. However, after what we got with the Space Oddity celebration, this feels lightweight. Also, the book in this set is a little dull. Not to mention, I paid full price for it on release, and that was £17.95 – so the savings here are a little less than £4. Honestly, I personally think it feels half-baked. Hopefully they do something (considerably) better for Hunky Dory.
This deal is through a 3rd party seller too , so you don’t get the Autorip either
Yes, and it’s so frustrating how Bowie’s reissues have no homogeneity. I was so disappointed with this after the excellent Conversation Piece. It’s as if they give every new reissue to a different design team. The only consistent thing is that they are always inconsistent.
Not everything has to be consistent, it depends on the project.
They announced a series running from Space Oddity through Alladin Sane, if I recall correctly. As such, you’d think the series would be consistent. Goodness knows what we’re going to get with Hunky Dory.
For Dutch readers: only 12,99 euros at the webshop from the Plato recordstore.
They also ship to other countries but the shipping rates start at 8,50 euros.
Yes that is a very reliable webshop.
