    1. They’re matching the price on jpc.de.

I’ve sent a comment regarding this and the VDGG-Box “Charisma Years” for 130 €, also on jpc.de, yesterday but it seems to have been lost in transition.

  1. This Is Dig have a sale on at the moment. A bit of trawling needed but a few nice bits and pieces in there

The Gang Of Four 77-81 4CD box set (which hasn’t been in stock on Amazon for ages) is £64 and there are 2CD editions of Whitesnake’s Slide It In and Smiths Queen Is Dead for about £5 and it’s £8 for the the various 2CD versions of the first few Phil Collins solo albums. You have to weigh up the postage cost in addition to the savings but there’s a few good prices here and there.

  2. For Dutch readers only at bol.com.

Howard Jones – At the BBC – 5cd box for only 17,99 euro
Pineapple thief – Nothing but the truth – 4cd box for 48,99 euro

  3. Slim pickings for the past week or so but couple of small things on Amazon UK

The 4CD Metallica black album charity tribute album is down to £16.79
    The Oasis Knebworth 96 2CD is £7.80
The 4CD Bob Mould best of, Distortion is £18
The Lemonheads Lovey 2CD mediabook is £11

    1. Scored. Thank you! I have the vinyl edition of this but it duplicated LP4 and had no LP5. They couldn’t replace it but refunded me. Should have waited for this. :D

  4. I was in Fopp in Central London and they had the Prince Sign o the Times CD SDE reduced to £90. Not sure if other sites have it cheaper but seems a bargain at that price. They had the new Abba CD for £4 when bought with something else.

Also Shak’s record store in Kingston had the Doors LA Woman boxset for £40

  5. I see that Van The Man is taking pre-orders on coloured vinyl with limited SIGNED print! Oh dear…here we go again. Does the great rock n roll swindle continue?

      1. I’m out this time as well but mainly because I just don’t like the music he is producing nowadays and I’ve stopped trying to convince myself that the next one will be better.

I will enjoy watching the inevitable signature bingo when the prints are released though! And it doesn’t say in any of the marketing that it is hand signed so printed signatures could be on the cards again….

    1. Now 70 € on German Amazon and by a third party seller (though delivered by Amazon) but still the best deal i’ve ever seen for this so far in Germany so i finally pulled the plug…

      Thanks very much @oleander :-)

  6. Really, really wish there was an official release for the Outside tour including the NIN and Pr*ck support as both bands are superb.
Highly unlikely especially in the latter’s case as Kevin McMahon seems to be a totally elusive character although ironically the debut album had some superb Bowie type sounding tunes albeit with a NIN production. Really also wish I could have seen that tour obviously not to be.

  7. This site is brilliant and normally so accurate but I have be super pedantic and point out that the Bowie set is singular Brilliant Adventure (no s). Please correct this as it is annoys me every time I come here ;)

  8. I never learn my lesson with these Bowie boxes. Not helped either by dealers posting in Bowie groups that it’s “out of print at Warner’s and they’re not pressing any more so I wouldn’t hang around” two weeks after it’s released. Thankfully I don’t need the next one! I just needed BA to complete my Bowie album discography on vinyl so I was mugged by FOMO!!

  9. 15% off thing happening on ebay (code SHOP15) – looks like it’s with MusicMagpie and Chalky’s again.

Not too much different to the other deals they’ve had in the past except:

The (slightly overpriced) new Neil Young – Official Release Series Discs 13, 14, 20 & 21 is £37

You can pre-order the Elton John – Madman Across The Water CD box for £56

The new Norah Jones – Come Away With Me 3CD set is £19

    1. Brilliant box if you’re into box set overkill like the King Crimson sets.

I was lucky enough to get this shortly after release still sealed plus unsealed but also in pristine condition the SDEs of “…Grey Lantern” and “Six” for a total of 200 EUR including p&p.

Considered that a highlight in the dark early days of Covid…

      1. Yeah, I’m a proper Mansun fanatic so have, I think, every CD (albums and singles) they’ve released plus a load of the vinyl too. I was also at one of the gigs included in the box.

It’s a really nice set – the books are good and it’s well put together.

  10. How come the Super Furries’ Rings Around The World deluxe (identikit format to Supergrass and released the same month last year) never gets a downward-deal movement? Would have thought it a harder shift/less popular than In It For The Money

    1. Agree 100% with this. The 2CD editions of their first 3 albums are all £10ish.

Such a weird rollout of this last one, what with the 95 track two volume digital edition vs the much abridged 3CD edition.

    2. I think the difference is that Supergrass have done a big ol’ career spanning box set in advance whereas SFA have never done this and concentrate on album-specific editions. If I’d bought that ‘Grass box with the picture discs, I dunno if I’d be in the market for the separate reissues. That said, I think the 3CD “In It For The Money” is an absolute treat, a superb release.

      1. 90,56 $ to Spain. The doubt I have is that the estimated taxes are barely 3 euros… and I’m afraid of customs taxes… I think I’ll keep waiting for a deal in the Amazons of Europe.

  11. That Lou Reed box is brilliant, saw him at the London Palladium that year, you’re spot on in your video Paul, it really is a 80’s record in the best way possible, that’s a steal at £45
