Great deal – Depeche Mode Ultra 12” singles is only 99 Euro on Amazon.de. Lowest price to date.
https://amzn.to/3sW69Sb
They’re matching the price on jpc.de.
I’ve sent a comment regarding this and the VDGG-Box “Charisma Years” for 130 €, also on jpc.de, yesterday but it seems to have been lost in transition.
One for the classical/film music fans….
Until 27 May at 1200 BST….

Great price for America Half Century (7CD+DVD Box Set) at 51 % off 123 $. https://amzn.to/3lFwBvm
This Is Dig have a sale on at the moment. A bit of trawling needed but a few nice bits and pieces in there
The Gang Of Four 77-81 4CD box set (which hasn’t been in stock on Amazon for ages) is £64 and there are 2CD editions of Whitesnake’s Slide It In and Smiths Queen Is Dead for about £5 and it’s £8 for the the various 2CD versions of the first few Phil Collins solo albums. You have to weigh up the postage cost in addition to the savings but there’s a few good prices here and there.
For Dutch readers only at bol.com.
Howard Jones – At the BBC – 5cd box for only 17,99 euro
Pineapple thief – Nothing but the truth – 4cd box for 48,99 euro
Amazon.nl has already matched these prices as well. (or the other way around)
Slim pickings for the past week or so but couple of small things on Amazon UK
The 4CD Metallica black album charity tribute album is down to £16.79
The Oasis Knebworth 96 2CD is £7.80
The 4CD Bob Mould best of, Distortion is £18

Scored. Thank you! I have the vinyl edition of this but it duplicated LP4 and had no LP5. They couldn’t replace it but refunded me. Should have waited for this. :D
I was in Fopp in Central London and they had the Prince Sign o the Times CD SDE reduced to £90. Not sure if other sites have it cheaper but seems a bargain at that price. They had the new Abba CD for £4 when bought with something else.
Also Shak’s record store in Kingston had the Doors LA Woman boxset for £40
Fopp is owned by HMV & the Prince has been £89.99 in HMV stores & online for some time. Same with the £4 Abba etc
If anyone’s interested, the Prince box is £61 from MusicMagpie’s ebay shop until the end of Thursday (use code CROWN20)
A very good price for the Sound-Of-Vinyl “exclusive” Crystal-clear-vinyl (+ mat) of Moby’s “Reprise”-album
on some Amazon sites:
https://amzn.to/3LonfP7
Metallica’s massive “black album” super deluxe box is down to £158 (started at about £250 when it was released last year)
https://amzn.to/3FY5BQU
I see that Van The Man is taking pre-orders on coloured vinyl with limited SIGNED print! Oh dear…here we go again. Does the great rock n roll swindle continue?
I fell for that one last time but never again…….I’m out this time and will stream it.
I’m out this time as well but mainly because I just don’t like the music he is producing nowadays and I’ve stopped trying to convince myself that the next one will be better.
I will enjoy watching the inevitable signature bingo when the prints are released though! And it doesn’t say in any of the marketing that it is hand signed so printed signatures could be on the cards again….
The Plastic Ono Band Deluxe CD/BD Box set for 49,90€ at Amazon France and 64,42€ in Germany.
Now 70 € on German Amazon and by a third party seller (though delivered by Amazon) but still the best deal i’ve ever seen for this so far in Germany so i finally pulled the plug…
Thanks very much @oleander :-)
The Supergrass deal is back on, after the price went to over £16
Good price on the Black Keys – El Camino 4CD 10th anniversary set, down to £16
Really, really wish there was an official release for the Outside tour including the NIN and Pr*ck support as both bands are superb.
Highly unlikely especially in the latter’s case as Kevin McMahon seems to be a totally elusive character although ironically the debut album had some superb Bowie type sounding tunes albeit with a NIN production. Really also wish I could have seen that tour obviously not to be.
The recent Sparks’ Balls remastered/deluxe CD release is down to £9.99 on Amazon UK.
https://amzn.to/3LcfVFX
The 2CD/BR version of Air’s 10,000 Hz Legend is down to £16.49 on Amazon UK.
Marillion – Fugazi – Deluxe Vinyl box set now £33 at amazon UK – has it been cheaper?
This site is brilliant and normally so accurate but I have be super pedantic and point out that the Bowie set is singular Brilliant Adventure (no s). Please correct this as it is annoys me every time I come here ;)
Isn`t it Brilliant Adentures if there is more then one of them available.
Been corrected now. Good work
Kylie Minogue – DISCO: Guest List Edition (Limited Deluxe Edition) is no longer available at that price (€ 10,99) at JPC, but it is available at € 9,99 at the recordshop Concerto in Amsterdam (https://www.platomania.nl/article/10237396/disco_guest_list_edition_3cddvddlry/minogue_kylie).
I never learn my lesson with these Bowie boxes. Not helped either by dealers posting in Bowie groups that it’s “out of print at Warner’s and they’re not pressing any more so I wouldn’t hang around” two weeks after it’s released. Thankfully I don’t need the next one! I just needed BA to complete my Bowie album discography on vinyl so I was mugged by FOMO!!
15% off thing happening on ebay (code SHOP15) – looks like it’s with MusicMagpie and Chalky’s again.
Not too much different to the other deals they’ve had in the past except:
The (slightly overpriced) new Neil Young – Official Release Series Discs 13, 14, 20 & 21 is £37
You can pre-order the Elton John – Madman Across The Water CD box for £56
The new Norah Jones – Come Away With Me 3CD set is £19
Not a deal per se but the massive Mansun – Closed For Business box set (24CD/1DVD) is back down to £150 on Amazon UK for the first time in quite a while.
Brilliant box if you’re into box set overkill like the King Crimson sets.
I was lucky enough to get this shortly after release still sealed plus unsealed but also in pristine condition the SDEs of “…Grey Lantern” and “Six” for a total of 200 EUR including p&p.
Considered that a highlight in the dark early days of Covid…
Yeah, I’m a proper Mansun fanatic so have, I think, every CD (albums and singles) they’ve released plus a load of the vinyl too. I was also at one of the gigs included in the box.
It’s a really nice set – the books are good and it’s well put together.
Simple Minds ‘Street Fighting Years’ double remastered vinyl 12.99 (deluxe boxset still available); Crowded House Dreamers 12.99 (14.99 colured)! Lots more . . . .
https://www.roughtrade.com/gb/s/format/lp/on-sale?in_stock=in-stock&sort=rating
There’s a couple of dealers like Assai and possibly Amazon doing coloured Crowded House for £12.99. Quite a saving on original retail prices
Thought I had posted this a couple of days back, but Reflex Records in Newcastle UK have a few specials, incl £50 for 4 LP Stones ‘Goats Head Soup’, £99 for the Springsteen 8 ‘Album Collection Vol.2: 1987-1996’, and £78 for Cat Stevens ‘Mona Bone Jakon’ [4CD / BLU-RAY / 12″] (LP Box Set). Great store indeed. Mr Paul Weller actually put me on to them :-)

How come the Super Furries’ Rings Around The World deluxe (identikit format to Supergrass and released the same month last year) never gets a downward-deal movement? Would have thought it a harder shift/less popular than In It For The Money
Agree 100% with this. The 2CD editions of their first 3 albums are all £10ish.
Such a weird rollout of this last one, what with the 95 track two volume digital edition vs the much abridged 3CD edition.
Don’t forget the 2CD Deluxe Edition of Mwng from 2015. £5.95 direct from Amazon UK.
https://amzn.to/3l2JMGq
I think the difference is that Supergrass have done a big ol’ career spanning box set in advance whereas SFA have never done this and concentrate on album-specific editions. If I’d bought that ‘Grass box with the picture discs, I dunno if I’d be in the market for the separate reissues. That said, I think the 3CD “In It For The Money” is an absolute treat, a superb release.
Nick Cave B sides and rarities, part one, 3 CD set is £5.67 on Amazon UK. Great price for a great box set.
Up slightly – was £5.00 for a while yesterday (and part 2 was at £9.99)
The chronological sequencing on that set makes for an uneven listen, but at that ridiculous price it’s a no brainer for anyone interested in Cave’s work.
CD players are still programmable aren’t they? Just sayin’
The two New Order box sets of Movement and Power, Corruption And Lies are both available from HMV in the UK for £79.99 each.
Movement is £70 on Amazon UK (and they’ve price matched HMV on the PC&L box as well)
Simple Minds Street Fighting Years, 2 CD edition, available on Amazon UK for £3.25
Amazon has Robert Plant’s Digging Deep 7 inch singles box set for £40
Super price for last year’s 3CD version of Supergrass’ magnificent In It For The Money – down to £8
https://amzn.to/37yO1Gr
Amazing price. Cheers Matt.
Aargh! curse you, ridiculous price reductions (except when I haven’t pre-ordered, obs)
Just snapped up a copy, fantastic price, thanks for the heads up (via Paul’s tweet about it)
Took a look at the Band Cahoots offer on Amazon.com priced at $52. Shipping/”handling” to UK came up at $109! With 20% VAT on top of that.
But it’s still a great deal for those in the USA
90,56 $ to Spain. The doubt I have is that the estimated taxes are barely 3 euros… and I’m afraid of customs taxes… I think I’ll keep waiting for a deal in the Amazons of Europe.
FYI, the album is also available on Amazon USA for $45.65… a helluva deal!
The 3CD version of Garbage’s Beautiful Garbage is currently £11 on Amazon UK. Just a couple of copies left at that price, though, so be quick.
That Lou Reed box is brilliant, saw him at the London Palladium that year, you’re spot on in your video Paul, it really is a 80’s record in the best way possible, that’s a steal at £45
