  1. It should have been £18 when it was first released imho. Its not worth any more than that.
    People who bought it as an investment upon release must be kicking themselves

  3. Thanks to Steve for the heads-up re. Eno’s Music For Installations. Amazon won’t have it back in stock until 20th May, but at £23.06, it’s a no-brainer!

  5. The -20% on amazon.de, that Dajong mentioned , is still on. And there are always new items. There is no list of the items that are in promotion, so you have to search for a particular release.
    I managed to get two things I waited to come down.

    I ordered the Half Speed Master of Genesis “Seconds out” for only 27€ and Bowies “conversation Peace” for only 67€ .

    Also saw the Beatles Singles Box for 121€.

    Just look up your item, and there is a lone under the price which says “save €….. at the checkout”. There real price showed up at the very last step of your order.

  7. If anyone still needs this cheap for their Erasure collection, the 3CD ‘Always – The very best of (Deluxe Edition)’ is currently listed for 5.99 EUR at amazon.de

  9. Bowie Keyhole boxset keeps going up and down, it crept down to about £15.90 the other day. Worth putting in your basket and watching. Massive Attack vs Mad Professer Mezzanine Dub on Pink vinyl the same. Was £13.80 the other day, now back up to about £16.20.

          1. The Beatles Abbey Road cd/Blu-ray deluxe boxset and the singles vinyl boxset are still available with the discount.

  13. Finally gave in and purchased the Bowie Alien box from amazon.de and I also got immediate rips.
    It paid off to wait, also aided by the favorable exchange rate.

    On many articles 20 % Discount (CD, Vinyl, Blu-ray).

    e.g. Lou Reed RCA & Arista Boxset 18 € cheaper. About 75 €
    REM Out Of Time & Supertramp Crime Of The Century Vinyl under 10 €.
    Marillion Afraid Of Sunlight CD Boxset 6 € cheaper. About 24 €.
    Big Company CD Collection (6 CDs) about 20 €.
    Also some Depeche Mode 12 ” Boxsets much cheaper.

  15. Loving The Alien Boxset is 90 euro’s on Amazon Germany and Amazon Netherlands as well. Which is around the same price as Amazon UK, but perhaps cheaper in shipping for some…

  16. The Beatles (White Album) currently £88.76 on Amazon UK … has it been lower than this yet/ever? Still saving my pennies for the Lennon and Harrison anniversary releases in the autumn, but this is getting to a point where I’m tempted.

  17. Donna Summer box set ordered on Amazon DE; only 4 pieces left. Ordered last week on Amazon Italy but not shipped yet, so I cancelled that one and saved 25 euro.

  23. I paid the release day £170 for the Supergrass box only to see it drop to £130 the follwoing day! Never mind, I held my nerve for the Origins of Muse set which dropped briefly to £110 on the day after release when I pounced. Swings and roundabouts.
