Cat Stevens Mona Bone Jakon Super Deluxe Edition is currently $71 USD at Amazon US.
Elton John Jewel Box on Amazon UK at £56
Cat Stevens – ‘Mona Bone Jakon’ deluxe is now £77 & ‘Tea for the tillerman’ is £81 on Amazon during their ‘prime day’
Outrageously good price on the Elton John Jewel Box for Prime customers on Prime day – £56.
The Grace Jones is sold out at Amazon , but still in stock at HMV for £5.99 (Amazon was price matching the HMV price).
If you’re in the US the Black Sabbath Sabotage Super Deluxe is $36 on Amazon (I doubt it’ll ever be cheaper than that judging by how the prices moved on the other two boxes).
Sadly no UK delivery on it at that price, but you can pick it up for £37 from one of the US import sellers in the Amazon UK marketplace (just make sure you seek out the Rhino edition, not the BMG one which is inexplicably twice the price)
Deep Discount.com has the Sabotage box for $34 with free US shipping. Also a further 10% discount if you spend over $40.
They also ship to UK with attractive low shipping & deal with Vat so no importation fee risk. I’ve used them often and shipping is quick and strong boxes
Not a huge saving (normally £20) but the no frills Buffalo Springfield – What’s That Sound? Complete Albums Collection, 5CD set (3 albums but two of them have stereo and mono versions) is back down to £15 on Amazon UK.
They’re outstanding remasters overseen by Neil Young (probably the best the albums have sounded) so if you’re curious about the band this is a really cheap way to take the plunge.
The Grateful Dead 3CD 50th Anniversary edition of American Beauty is also back down to £13.
Depressed! I wanted the Lou Reed one but yet another offer I can’t avail of due to where I live and “Brexit”! Not happy!
does brexit affect deals from the US to anywhere?
Something is affecting it! I’m seeing £41 (or $57 not $36) for Lou Reed, and even worse is £113 (or $155 not $89) for Mona Bone Jakon!
Bought plenty from Amazon.com and others in the past but this “geo-blocking”(?) development is crap. I can (almost) understand the eu sites sticking it to the UK, but the US? What’s the rationale for this?
Don’t worry, it works in both directions, too. Lots of Amazon UK “deals” end up being far more expensive for US buyers than they do for UK buyers.
Wonder what Amazon’s reason is for this if it is a global problem?
I used to see deal prices and would weigh up additional cost of postage, maybe import duty or a surcharge and it was my choice whether to proceed or not, but now I don’t even see the deal price which is so sneaky!
I wonder is it the same your way round when trying to view Uk deals from the States? Do you see the deal price but are blocked from buying or do you not see the deal prices at all?
An Australian in Germany, feels your pain on so many deals ,,…
Wow… I’m very tempted by the New York deal. It’s one of my favourite albums ever. I suppose it’s worth every dollar.
Lou Reed New York 3CD/DVD/2LP Super Deluxe @ $38 on Amazon US. Can’t see this one dropping much further. Tunes have held up pretty well, although it could do without the 1-2 shouty uptempo lead guitar cliche clinics. He was always best just telling a tale over the same 3-4 cowboy chords. Enjoy.
It got down to $34 in March, but still a fantastic deal.
If you fancy the Gary Numan autobiography, the hardback is currently under £7 on amazon uk from 3rd party sellers with no extra for postage.

Don’t fancy it!
It’s a great book! And he doesn’t skip the ‘bad’ years like many other autobiographies do. Also from reading this, I can’t believe how evil kids in 70s were. If people complain about teenagers today, the ones inte 70s were much much worse. And these are the old men now complaining about youngsters.
At the time of writing – The Killers CD „Imploding The Mirage“ – 4.48€ on Amazon de !
Strange that Rewind follows the original vinyl track listing, therefore missing the CD-only (edited) Emotional Rescue and Hang Fire …
Hi Tim.
That’s not strange, that’s Japanese record companies doing a vinyl replica. Everything just like the original vinyl release (if slightly smaller), right down to the tracklisting…
Those who want the cd-bonus tracks can buy the (jewel-cased) cd-release.
This release is faithfully reproduced in miniature LP package from the UK first-released LP sleeve.
Perhaps that’s why it’s called “vinyl replica”, not “CD replica”?
All Thing Must Pass eight LP box 20% off at Popmarket in the US today! You can also sign up for emails from them and receive another 10% off. Other ATMP sets also discounted but not as much. https://www.popmarket.com/all-things-must-pass-super-deluxe-8-lp-box-set/602435652375
Dear Paul Sinclair.
All of the titles in this series: “Rewind” “Time Waits For No One” “Made In The Shade” “Sucking In The Seventies” and “Sticky Fingers” (Spanish Cover Edition) were released May 22 2019 and not in 2020.
Everything was clearly reported here, thanks very much > https://superdeluxeedition.com/news/the-rolling-stones-japanese-paper-sleeve-cds-available-at-a-great-price/
I’m reminded of a certain Electronic track..The Patience Of A Saint
Dear Paul Sinclair
I purchased mine through Amazon UK in the summer of 2019. So I thought you made a typo, sorry about that.
No problem…
That didnt last long at all! Missed it but thats ok. Ive got all the others and there’s so much overlap. Would still have bought it for Undercover of the Night. They are beautiful issues.
So frustrating,.. not just deals blocked from me in Germany… Every A.UK (sold/delivered) item, the last week or so. But then some “from A.UK” items turn up on A.DE.
Fawlty Towers box arrived last week (UK to DE)…, NO Amazon box, freight label stuck to shrink wrap which was totally torn off, handed to me that way. Unbelievable…
Box corner damaged and all 6 LPs Tore holes in covers…
Still available in UK, but no replacement possible after three epic exchanges. Only refund, return and reorder. But item blocked, so couldn’t.
The second try said would be fine, replacement on the way… but hours later I confirmed she was wrong.
Eventually, third round ended with me being given a full refund and no return needed.
So, money good, but still left with damaged item…
Just a mess of a day.
Happy birthday to me.
They also threw in a £10 credit.
Which is just wonderful…
Except I can’t use it on anything cause all A.UK sold items blocked.
Same time, fighting with A.Com.
Wanted to give store credit, but totally useless, as prices have skyrocketed or not available and if they are, shipping so insanely expensive now.
Need a drink.
Amazon simply cannot be trusted to ship fragile items safely. It’s a crap shoot every time (a game I no longer play), and if the item is a limited edition and sold out…
Yeah,, this was just insane though, no box at all.
== company moron alert ==
Now reminds me of the great Keith Richards box deal last year from US to DE,,, damaged, return hassle, refund hassle, replacement finally. In a box, but bouncing around a big box… Both times.
Deal does not work for US.
Yes, that’s a shame. It’s over now anyway.
