Bought Love today, it has the correct Sax Version of Goldmine, they must’ve corrected it…

[…] Edsel records have this month reissued all the Aztec Camera back catalogue, producing a set of six quality casebound book deluxe editions. Jeez, so High Land is faulty as well?! I’ve got that on order..well it can go straight back in that case. Love has a similar balls-up on the 2nd disc…they’ve repeated the LP mix of Working In A Goldmine instead of the listed “Sax Mix”. This just isn’t good enough, is it.

Best to just stick to the originals, because they haven’t even remastered them as far as I can tell; Love sounds as quiet as “flat” as the 80s pressing, which is perfectly good enough anyway.

Neil

Got High Land, Hard Rain and they have used the same Oblivious (Remix) which was on 12″/80s/2 with the mastering fault.

Stephen

A pretty decent reissue!

Eric

Just seen that the pre-order prices have split between the 1 and 2-disc titles; High Land.. and Knife are only 6.99, the others remain at 9.00; so that answers my question! Knife is looking especially tempting.

Eric

Oh these could be stunning; I was under the impression they were all single-disc affairs, so some of the 2CD ones are extremely tempting! All my Love-era 12″ vinyls won’t need to be painstakingly digitised now, and I’ve wanted the 7″ edit of All I Need Is Everything for 28 years. I’m assuming the prices will be the same for each, regardless of being one or two CDs?

Amazing! Looking forward muchly. Also, I love this site! Keep up the good work! :)

Too bad! this set box not coming songs like oblivious ( live version ) and somewhere in my heart ( live version ) ,, totally dissapointed!!!
