Crosby, Stills & Nash / CSN 24k Gold CD

CSN, the third 1977 studio album by Crosby, Stills & Nash is being reissued on 13 August 2013 as a 24k Gold CD from Audio Fidelity, specially remastered for this edition by renowned audio engineer Steve Hoffman.

This classic album features the singles Just A Song Before I Go and Fair Game, with the former a Billboard Hot 100 top ten hit.

The 1991 Crosby, Stills & Nash 4CD box set which bears the same title, is also reissued in September.

  1. I agree – silky, deep and detailed. It was a pleasant sounding lp back in the day but now performs as a masterwork. The bass and drums are wildly tight and punchy, the vocal timbre and arrangements (more perfect than I remembered them) just dazzle. Also knocked out by acoustic guitars, vibes, and keyboards. Steve Hoffman is a great craftsman, this is cd folks….not an SACD or a 200 gram lp but it sounds just as wondeful…this is the release of the year so far for me. A remaster for the ages. I would love to hear Hoffman do Long May You Run next.
