Amazon asking £6.83 for that PSB single is an utter disgrace and i also noticed that New Order single Singularity on there as well priced at £8.04. There is no way a CD single should be priced above £4.99.

It’s not Amazon doing it as such – They’re working from a dealer price set by record companies. HMV store price was also £6.99 as was an indie shop I ended up getting it from. Blame the makers and in this case, Neil and Chris as they’re in charge of stuff like this now. If Amazon had flogged it for a fiver they’d probably be making no profit at all.

The Amazon price is the cheapest, by a few pence, for this.

Neil

If that’s the case that they are working from the dealers price then how come those forthcoming Associates reissues are £12 on their Pledgemusic page yet on Amazon the pricing is all over the place especially The Affectionate Punch which they are asking £18.38 which is a total joke. Amazon set their own prices.

We are really into the dull portion of the year when not much is coming out and SDE has to start announcing CD singles….

The boys confirming more album reissues for later this year (Autumn) on Graham Norton’s show today – @ 2 hours 50 mins in is when he asks them. No specific mention of Please though….

It will be interesting to see the UK chart positions of some of these: A-ha’s Objects In The Mirror (Steve Osborne version) & The Pets Pop Kids are both Radio 2 ‘A’ playlisted, and Fly Like An Eagle is their album of the week. Hopefully it will give a good ‘shove’ to the sales figures. These days there can’t be many better promotional freebies a band can hope to get than that.

Looking forward to the Iggy album. The tracks I’ve heard so far have been superb!
