Not actually out until April 21st but my yellow vinyl edition of Music For Stowaways by the B. E. F arrived today, three weeks early. This has sold out but you can still get the black vinyl edition or CD from Cold Spring or Bandcamp.
Peter Schilling: Coming Home (40 Years Of Major Tom) 2-CD and 4-CD releases out this week
In the US you can save 40% off list prices on importcds.com
Coloured vinyl also released Mar 22
Just ordered the 4CD Peter Schilling box on Amazon…they are selling it via importcds & price dropped to $36 and change from $61, a 41% drop…that’s what I do, I keep in mind the preorder price, then on release day I go back & see if it dropped…and this did…looks like a great set but still need to keep that original 1989 Different Story CD cuz that one has the (rare??) English track Zone 804…and surprised the box does not have the 12″ of The Different Story…but that I believe is on one of the Blank & Jones so80s volumes…I think…
Different story extended is cd4 track 12. just listened to it.
Why the OMD CD would be twice as much in the USA versus Canada and UK, is beyond me. $30 for a single CD is preposterous.
Vinyl is also outrageous in the US.
But not twice as much.
Yeah, I see my local record store in the US also has the OMD CD at ~$30 as an import. Ridiculous. Reminds me of Sting’s Duets CD which was similarly priced in the US.
Lloyd Cole and the Commotions’ 180g vinyl reissue of Rattlesnakes is out on Friday too.
Donˋt forget the debut album of Molina,Talbot,Lofgren & Young!!
„All roads lead home“ is on the way.
The new album by the various current members of Neil Young & Crazy Horse (Talbot, Molina, Lofgren & Young) is also out on Friday, as is the debut album by boygenius and the new one by The Zombies
Boygenius getting some stellar reviews. 99% on metacritic!
Their EP was great so I’m not hugely surprised. All 3 of them are excellent songwriters, so I’m very much looking forward to this one.

Hawkwind’s 8 x CD + 2 x audio blu ray set DAYS OF THE UNDERGROUND – THE STUDIO AND LIVE RECORDINGS 1977-1979. Lots of Steven Wilson involvement on these.
CHERRY STARS COLLIDE – DREAM POP, SHOEGAZE AND ETHEREAL ROCK 1986-1995 4 x CD set on Cherry Red, a companion set to 2017’s ‘Still In A Dream’ shoegaze collection.
Thanks to Rare Glam for reminding me of the Cherry Stars Collide box. Do I need it? No, but have ordered it anyway…it’s been unusually slow for recent box set purchases. Couldn’t pass it up at a great price from Deepdiscount.com here in the States.
I got that Cherry Stars Collide set last week, pretty great, but now really need that 1st set which I forgot about, and is selling at still-high prices…cheapest is over $50…looks more lavishly packaged than Cherry which is just a cuter thinner square clamshell box…being it’s a companion sequel, I hope and assume there are no duplicate tracks on either set…
