Paul Weller / Cosmic Fringes 12-inch single

When Paul Weller announced his latest album, Fat Pop, he let slip that there was a 12-minute Pet Shop Boys remix of album track ‘Cosmic Fringes’.

That remix will be available on a special limited 12-inch single backed with a further remix by Primal Scream‘s Andrew Innes.

The heavyweight 12-inch black vinyl is release NEXT WEEK and the SDE shop has a small allocation (limited to one per customer). We also have a few copies left of the album on yellow vinyl.

  1. Aaargh! I don’t do vinyl and when I read about this on Saturday morning it was sold out anyway…
However, for anybody in the same situation as me – I’ve preordered the iTunes digital version for £2.49 (released 23/7/21).

    Yeah, I know… not a physical product…

But at least I’m able to add this to my PSB collection (also helps I really liked the original song!)

Edit to add: Paul, can I request the inclusion of that great interview/article you did about Pet Shop Boys remixes in the next volume of Decade?

  2. I somehow missed your stock Paul – not quite fast enough.
Managed to grab one from the Paul Weller store though I have found their service a bit hit and miss.

By the way Paul – do you have any idea what has happened to the vinyl version of the updated Wake Up the Nation album?

  3. This is what I’ve been waiting for, should be insane if nothing else and with their supreme talent at remixing it’ll be the first time ever I’m looking forward to a Weller release (in fact this’ll be the only Paul Weller record that’s likely to join my collection!). All ordered and thanks Paul
