Let me be frank and free. This is their best album and has as far as melody concerns stood the test of time better than any of their period colleagues including those longhaired moptops from Liverpool. While Status Quo still delivered beautiful melodies most of the others forgot about composing quality material and wrecked their guitars. Alas Status Quo went the same way.

Got the 1st two on order and Ma Kelly’s fried egg.
Anyone know if Dog of 2 head will be re issued?

Thanx to all the SDE-er’s for the info on Ma Kelly RSD. Did not know about this at all. So off I went to try and find one. It should come as no surprise that they have all been snapped up!
Eventually ended up at ebay where I landed a brand new 2015 pressing from a very well known and respected seller whom I have bought from many times before, and thanks to one of ebay’s occasional money off vouchers, it cost me just over £16! So a real bargain. Excellent! Should arrive in time for my birthday next week which makes it all the better!

Incently I do have a fried egg 7″ single by DJ Scotch Egg; white vinyl with yellow label. Looks good!

Ma Kelly just got a ‘fried egg’ colour (yellow and white in clear vinyl) reissue for Record Store Day. There’s no mono version, but it’s the full album reissued.

Great, gonna order both release on your store.
By the way Simonf, Ma Kelly’s greasy spoon is released… part of this year’s RSD, on green vinyl

So that’s the first two Quo albums up and running again. Fingers crossed that the third, Ma Kelly’s Greasy Spoon (their first full on boogie album) also gets the reissue treatment!

Didn’t Ma Kelly just get done for either RSD or National Album Day? Fried Egg vinyl if I remember rightly!

To Simonf Ma Kelly’s Greasy Spoon was reissued all be it as a limited coloured vinyl for RSD on the weekend past. It featured the album on clear vinyl with the swirl of a fried egg in the middle. I didnt get that one as part of my stash when I queued up overnight outside the shop to get it but might get it later on for though alot of the RSD releases are put on ebay you do get the odd one by biding your time that will sell it at the price it was being sold on the day or possibly less if they have overstocks I scored with the old Transformers soundtracks getting them for less than on the day in question.
