The Beatles / Live at the BBC: The Collection 4CD box set
The Beatles’ forthcoming On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2 – due for release on 11 November 2013 – is available packaged with the remastered Live at the BBC set.
The four disc set is being dubbed Live at the BBC – The Collection and is nothing more than a card slipcase containing the two individual two-CD releases.
Still, quite nice to have if you don’t mind paying what is, at the time of writing, a £7 premium (Amazon UK) over the cost of the two separate releases.

Hi, I’m a bit confused. I want to get my husband the Live at the BBC volume 2 for Christmas. He doesn’t have volume 1.
Is “Live at the BBC, the collection” a package of both together? And am I sensing that it would be cheaper to buy vols 1 and 2 separately.
I’m UK based, if that helps.
Thank you !
Hi Helen – Yes, Live at the BBC, the collection is both together. They come in a card slipcase. At current amazon prices it’s about £2 more expensive to get them together, but you do have the benefit of a nice box to put them in. If you don’t think your husband would value that, then just get them separately! thanks, Paul
Thank you that’s very helpful – I’ve ordered them both together.
The 4-CD collection better come with the booklets!
It will! It’s the standard retail packages within the slipcase.
Just a heads up that you can preorder the slipcase Sainsbury’s for £30.99.
