for anybody interested there is an error with all about eve first album 2cd.
it includes the single version of ‘every angel’ twice instead of album plus single version. so you need to keep your old cd.

Gisabun

Steven Wilson claims this LP will be a very limited one run release. This LP contains a big chunk of his “popular” hits. Trust me, it will be on CD in a couple of years.

Gisabun

Yikes. Don Henley really went mellow. He releases a country album! Features a bunch of country stars and Mick Jagger [Jagger in a country album?]. [Snoring.]

Deano

Doh doh doh! Sorry, meant to say, “…sounds very “Juan MacLean” so maybe they should give him a go”.

I am not ewesally bad at spelin and gramor.

Deano

Very impressed by New Order’s Music Complete.

Paul – can we expect a review from you anytime soon or would that be encroaching on “Classic Pop” territory?

As aside, does anyone know who is doing the mixing on the Ltd vinyl box? Are they extended versions by the originating producers of each track or should we expect some extra sparkle throughout from someone like Stuart Price or Richard X? Hmmm, maybe even bring out Steven Hague?

Tutti Frutti sounds very “Juan MacLean” sound maybe they should have given him a go.

Perhaps I’m too pedantic, but if you scroll up to the top of the page, the positioning of the sticker and the wording on it gives the impression that the Bowie box set was curated by SDE.

RJSWinchester

I asked because the “New Out This Week” sticker gives the impression that it is curated by SDE.

RJSWinchester

Was the Bowie box set curated by this website?

darren

Might be cheaper to buy from the US, even with import charges

jay

anyone ever find out what the japanese bonus was for the bowie box?

Richard Harris

Still not prepared to pay £100 for the Bowie box set. Thought prices might come down between press release and release date but apparently not. Hoping they fall a bit after 25/9/15. £80 for the CD including p&p and I’m in. But with rumours of the Springsteen River box imminent there’s only so much that a poor boy can do!

alan

Agree with you re price, I did pre-order but as price not dropped to something around the price point you mention I can live without it at the moment

darren

£41 for Bowie’s Reality LP. Ouch!!

Rare Glam

Re the Bowie 5 years box. Is it known if the remastered studio albums from the box being sold separately will be in gold rather than silver and if they also come as mini LP CD card sleeves like the box set editions, or will they be silver and in jewel cases?
