  1. Also out this week is the new A Certain Ratio album – It All Comes Down To This.

If the near title track All Comes Down To This is anything to go by, it should be a cracker.

  2. Probably a bit early but the new OMD single is out next week and IMHO the best track on the album. And like the PSBs a nice cd single too unlike Depeche Mode who seem to have forsaken the format.

  3. Also out… Veteran Aussie space rockers The Church’s follow-up to last years truly excellent concept album, “The Hypnogogue”(their 26th album), which further expands the narrative of that release, “Eros Zeta & The Perfumed Guitars” is now released into the world. As is the latest collaboration between Church leader Steve Kilbey and All India Radio’s Martin Kennedy (Kilbey Kennedy) titled “Premonition K”. As a long time fan of both of these creative endeavours, I’m beyond gratified that all these years down the track, Kilbey’s creative juices are flowing as strongly as ever and his musical output has maintained such an unbelievably high standard. Rolling Stones aside, The Church still maintain the highest number of four or five star rated albums on All Music Guide, and for good reason.

    1. Good call! I actually am liking ‘Eros Zeta’ more than ‘The Hypnogogue’. The CD is a beautiful physical package too. Haven’t heard the new Kilbey Kennedy album, but I’ve liked all the others.

  4. Super-excited about the new T-Bone Burnett album coming out Friday entitled “The Other Side.” It’s his first solo album in nearly 20 years, according to his website.

  5. I’m looking forward to Death Songbook on Friday.
Paraorchestra featuring Brett Anderson, Nadine Shah and Gwenno.

Also I think Neil Young’s F*#!in’ Up is out on Saturday.
Well in part. The limited RSD version that is/was also available through his website is out this week. The CD and ordinary LP version are out next week.
