The cost of these is unbelievable – I have just seen the expanded Psychocandy selling at £1,700 – seriously. Un-feckin-real!
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Psychocandy-Jesus-Mary-Chain-Audio/dp/B00FW63KN6/ref=sr_1_10?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1500634107&sr=1-10&keywords=Psychocandy
It is a real shame that the superbly done 24/96 versions were not included however – these came out in the US only on Rhino DualDiscs and were all assembled from the original master tapes by Bill Inglot back in 2006 and those masters really do sound different to these Edsel ones.
where to buy those these days??? lookslike they are sold out :-((
Hi Martin.
Try Discogs – http://www.discogs.com – and they will all be there at sensible prices (forget the scalpers on Amazon who are a right rip-off, plus Amazon use an Algorithm that seems to “know” what you will pay – you could look up the same disc as me & get a different price)
Anyway – Psychocandy is here for £23:

Automatic (£23)

Darklands (£50)

Honey’s Dead (£69)

Munki (£61)

Stoned & Dethroned (£61.50)

Still dear, but nowhere near as dear as Amazon. They also have the DualDisc editions, with RedBook CD on one side & gorgeous 24/96 stereo on the DVD side as well as the related videos. No bonus material here but you do get wonderful High Res versions of the main albums
Get the six of these and you pretty much own everything they ever recorded.
Edsel know how to reissue albums-these are the definitive issues of the JAMC back catalogue.I’d deduct half a mark for no ‘hardback’ packaging.
Heya now i’m initially right here. I came across this kind of aboard i in locating It genuinely useful & them reduced the problem out considerably. I really hope to give one thing back plus assistance other individuals just like you aided us.
Please consider this my screaming around the trees for these!
