And the Encore series 2012 is making the individual shows available at $15.00 for a double soundboard CD and a couple of bucks for shipping here in the States. In the context of the boxset issues, it sounds like a very viable alternative.
Auburn Hills show arrives on Wednesday and my copy has been ordered. See other Superdeluxe fans at the row, I am in 101 row M
I won’t buy it either. Just checked out some prices here in Australia, and it’s hovering around the $180 mark!! Not a snowballs chance in hell. I’ve got more chance of hearing him sing ‘Return of the Giant Hogweed’ live again, than buying this box.
I gotta say it looks like a very beautiful box, but I’ll wait until the price goes below the 60 dollar mark because it’s just not worth for me. I’m in no rush. It could be possible considering the box set is now available for 100 bucks and you can expect the price to go lower in the following months, not to mention Black Friday deals in a couple of months or used sets for sale online either on eBay or Amazon. This means that if you plan on getting this box set pretty cheaply eventually, you’ll have to skip the 3 disc set of So to avoid repetition and further cash-out for the same material.
Instead of buying this, I picked up the 200 gram Quiex vinyl edition from 2002. For those into vinyl, the Classic Records pressings of all the PG albums have now gone out of print. They are getting pricey but they sound delish.
It’s gone under $100, so now it’s worth buying. $150 was a ripoff. I still think he could – and should – have done more with this album, but it’s now priced better to warrant it.

Good point @justin I realized a few years ago that buying ANY box sets in OZ is a massive rort.
JB is still trying too sell genesis box sets at over 200 dollars
They need to get real real Fans are not that stupid
Damn straight William. I bought the boxes autographed by Steve Hackett from his website for less than that. A total shambles.

…no b-sides, no remixes… vinyls: what for? = no mercy!!!
The advert is pretty cool. The whole release is still a total balls-up though – no sale here.

Rami – This is an excellent point, hold on the three disc set and see if the box dives around Thanksgiving.
