Aztec Camera / High Land, Hard Rain: new 2CD reissue

Domino Records will release a two-CD deluxe edition of Aztec Camera‘s debut Hard Land, Hard Lane in February.

The 1983 album was reissued in August 2012 by Edsel Records, but their expanded edition was technically only available in the EU.

The new edition for the US market (a belated 30th Anniversary Edition) is remastered from the analog tapes and improves significantly on Edsel’s bonus offerings with 16 tracks covering most of what was on offer on the UK version and adding extra material, notably radio sessions.

The album-only vinyl version comes with a download card which covers the extra bonus material as well as the record itself.

High Land, Hard Rain is out on 4 February 2014

Will a USA or Canada download code work in the UK?

This morning first hour i get the roddyframe.com copy with the 45 signed by him but no download code inside of it, so seems u have to get the other vinyl or cd for get the extra content.

As a curiosity about the single A face is 45 RPM and B is 33 RPM, first time i’ve seen something like that in my whole life.

@John – The listing here matches the one on Domino Records’ US site i.e. a second disc with 16 tracks as opposed to the 14 track version on Amazon US.

Amazon UK are currently selling this, as an import, for £9.03

The track listing on the USA Amazon page does not match yours. I like yours better. It has more tracks. I hope superdeluxeedition.com is right and Amazon is wrong.

Aztec fans might like to know if they buy the vinyl through Roddy’s website (roddyframe.com) that the album includes a *signed* EP of bonus tracks not featured as part of the deluxe CD.

Not sure if the album includes the EP if bought elsewhere.
